Baron Returning?
Not sure if anyone posted this already. Take it for what its worth, but my friend over in LA told me that Baron was on the Dan Patrick show today and when asked what team he'll play for next year he said, "Warriors". Dan asked if he should write it in pencil or pen and Baron responded, "yeah, i'll be on the Warriors". He also said he'll try to play more defense. (again, according to my buddy). Anyone else hear the Dan Patrick show today?

I think we all knew that Baron was coming back, he would never let 17 M go.

He said he'd try to play more defense - that's hilarious.

Baron needs to teach Monta everything so once he leaves, Monta can be our regular PG.

Monta is not a PG. Don't be surprised if Baron is dealt by the trading deadline this season. If they resign Andris and Monta they won't spend money on Davis.

Re: Baron Returning?
Not spending on Davis may mean just letting him walk after next season. If they trade, it's likely that they will have to take back a significant portion of Davis' salary in the deal.
If Davis plays well and is healthy, maybe they can trade him for an expiring contract on a less talented player, plus either a draft pick or a young prospect.
Another possibility is he signs another contract with the Warriors, but at a lower salary.
