Wallace and the 25th for Al and BWright
Then the 14th plus the $10 mill trade exemption for Prince??
Baron, Montazor, Prince, Sheed, Beans
Bench Jax, Belly, Kosta, Buke, CJ.....Plus two free agents ???
I don't know if we can get the 25th from Detroit, but it would really help.

Wow you wouldn't trade Harrington, Wright, and #14 for Sheed, Prince and #29?
I think you might become favorites out west with that lineup.
PG:Davis(36)/Ellis(12)
SG: Ellis(24)/Jackson(24)
SF:Prince(36)/Jackson(12)
PF:Sheed(36)/MLE FA
C:Bierdens(36)/MLE FA
You'd be getting nothing but all-star caliber play from the 1-2-3 spots the entire game. Sheed defends Duncan as well as anyone in the NBA.

you're absolutely right. A lot of people have high hopes for Brandon Wright (hence the resistence to giving him up), and Sheed would only be a one or two year difference maker... but how could you pass up on a trade that would allow you to do so well both in the short term and long term?
Sure you give up the untapped potential of Wright, but Prince is not exactly long in the tooth (he's 28). That would set up the Warriors with a core of Prince/Ellis and Beidrins for the future.

thanks for the sig Boogie!

This GS fan would totally make that trade. Prince is one of me favorite SFs in the game. BWright is all yours.

Re: Detroit/GSW
meh... I still like my GSW/DET/NYK trade better.
Baron, Al, #14 for Sheed, Rip, Maxiell
Sheed, Rip, Maxiell for Randolph, Lee, #14, 2nd
Randolph, Lee, 2nd for Baron
Monta - MLE/LEE/D-League/2nd Rounder
Rip - Belli
Jack - Azu
Sheed - B.Wright - Maxiell
Andris - Kosta - Cro
or exchange Prince for Rip... works for me, too. Monta-Jack-Prince-Sheed-Andris is some kickass lineup.

i still like this one...
mc5097 wrote:okay, so this would be a 1 year run at a title, along with one year paying the Cap.. if the Warriors go real deep, should pay back what Cohan would have saved if they were under the Cap
Warriors trade and USE - TPE, Harrington and Kosta, 14th pick
Warriors get Sheed and RonRon
WHY: See at the end
Det trades Sheed
Det recieves Kosta, ZBo and #14
Why, they get a chance to get some value for Sheed.. Granted Zbo doesnt have that friendly of a contract, but with DET so far over the cap, wouldnt really matter for awhile.. They could play ZBo at C who would rebound and draft a young PF(warriors plan) at #14...
Billups, Rip, Prince, McDyess and ZBO, along with Stuckey, Johnson, #14, and Maxiell
Knicks trade ZBo, Lee and Rose
Knicks get BMiller and Harrington
Knicks get players more of MikeD's offense.. can move Curry for smaller parts if needed.. Starbury/Crawford/Harrington/Miller/Curry.. or Curry to bench and move AL and Brad down a Pos.. and start someone else at SF
Kings trade Artest and Miller
Kings get Lee and Rose, 7.4 Mil TPE
Granted Kings are losing out on talent, but Miller is a big contract and Artest is going to leave after 09 anyways.. here at least they get to possibly use the TPE on something, and Lee would be a nice PF down the road...
Udrih or draft pick/Martin/Garcia/Lee/Hawes.. Kings are going young and saving the dollars for when they need them
SO THE REASON FOR THE DUBS....
Well a starting lineup of
Baron/SJAX/Artest/Wallace/Biedrins would be long, tough, rugged and very defensive starting unit.

What happened to Monta? A lineup of Sheed, Artest and Jack would be highly combustable and potentially toxic.

Re: Detroit/GSW
I don't see the trade being done from a Detroit perspective. They are championship contenders for the next two years Plus the Prince for Wright deal is trading a player in his prime playing at a high level for promise which is usually not done by top teams.
