With all the Baron Davis trade talk and contract problems, what about grabbing Jason Williams. We need a backup PG and he is actually considering going back to the Griz. I can't see him costing a fortune.

Worth a look but there's things to consider in terms of durability..price tag. Would J Will want to come here when Monta is still priority for #2 PG minutes? How much do we pay for a player who we don't plan to use on a frequent basis?

I think there actually is a chance he'd be a nice plus,in a rather ideal situation where he's playing for fairly low $ and okay with the role. He's creative and apt to thrive in uptempo. If he's injured a lot or fancies himself a designated chucker...not good, and so we won't want to overpay and get stuck.

Watson didn't evolve into an NBA PG in his short (so far) NBA career, but he showed some game. Look at Bayless..touted as a top 5,Bayless is right now more shooter than distributer and there's an assumption he gets turned into a full PG. We've assumed that with Monta. Maybe Watson can be found money and at minimal cost to us be a plus here for a lot of years?
CENSORED... No comment.
