Instead of one star-player away from making the conference finals, we just lost one of our own. Are we back to square one?

Monta and Biedrins take on bigger roles

Our pg depth chart is ellis and watson? W/O baron the opposing team will lock down onto ellis, this season determines weather if ellis can be a pg or another tweener.

I'm moving to the Bay Area after Summer and wow. The way a team can blow up in 1 day... Wow.

I guess the tickets will be cheaper. :D

Team will still play Nellyball and score pts. We get to talk about what are potential cap space can get, how we can make trades to improve and who we can draft next year.

Beside individual player improvement, are we looking to move deeper into the playoff, or are we making a step backward after our last playoff appearance?

I know it's nice to have these guys on our team and see them improve, but the fact is that winning a Championship title is what we really want. Players with a passion for the game play to win it all and be the best. If we don't focus on winning it all, players like KG would not even consider playing for us. We have to win, otherwise we will forever be called "a player development" team.

I just hope Mickael Pietrus doesn't come back. We don't want his train wreck plays affect our younger players, convincing them to be a train wreck like Pietrus as well.

I can't believe anyone is worried about replacing Baron's crappy shooting percentage. Funny stuff.

I'm excited because NO BARON DAVIS!

I've had to stomach his BS for too long. I'm also looking forward to not hearing Bob **** say, "How will the Warriors survive with Baron on the bench." F U Fitz.

I'm excited about tanking and the number 1 pick next year and selecting BJ Mullens.

...and the 8+ assists, the steals, the ability to push the pace,to penetrate a packed in D.......

Won't miss the 3 chucking....and I'm afraid that's the part we DO replace.

We had PG's before Baron who were SUPPOSED to push the pace or at least not kill our fast breaks. We'd have Pietrus and J Rich break out...and 10 sec later the damn PG finally starts the offense.
Monta will push tempo but Monta can't dribble like Baron so defenses will crowd and harrass him.
He also won't be able to fire ahead to a streaking Monta Ellis. A little plus is Jax might play more G and that can mean Wright gets min at SF and that adds rebounds. We also might have some luck..get Josh Smith or Brand. Maggette would even be decent consolation. In a year Monta can be a pretty good PG and Azu might emerge as a real nice surprise at SG.

It's not that easy. The Griz ans Sac will be the West punching bags again. The Nets did more meltdown with less left, Charlotte is about as unlucky as us,and there's the Knix

BJ Mullins? How much of him have you seen? I saw some of him in a couple of HS All Star games and thought of Hawes with Sac.

what if nobody comes back. We can test the "Grass Is Greener" theory and the Tank for Felton Spencer Jr theory and make Nellie play rookies....since that would be half the roster.

I'm interested in seeing what MP and POB can do somewhere else.

Barnes will probably be with Dallas.

Maybe we can get Lasme back.

Seeing the young guys develop with the vets coming off the bench for the most part.
