Are you going to 'BOO' Baron this upcoming season?

Post#1 » by And 1 Amare » Thu Jul 3, 2008 11:06 pm

If you're going to a Warriors home game vs. the Clippers, would you 'boo' Baron? I know he was the savior of our franchise, but he did flake out on us after saying that he'd stay a Warrior.

How about a chant that goes something like:

"Baron's a traitor! *clap clap* - *clap clap clap*"

ahahahah

I hope someone throws a bottle of water at him he slips on the water and he is out for the season. And his movie producing career tanks... If that doesn't happen I want someone to dunk over him!

BTW, what I meant by "BOOING"...

I don't mean to boo him as like we're discrediting what great things he's done for our franchise; I would just boo him for leaving our team like that leaving us all shocked and whatnot. I still love Baron, but he's still a ho for leaving us in the dust.

I won't be Booing him. As much as I may want to he was entertaining to watch and brought excitement to the Arena. I still haven't decided if I blame him for taking less (initially) from the Clipps if his motivation was to win a championship. Wait I want to change my vote to whatever the crowd around me is doing I am going to jump on the bandwagon.

I won't boo him but I know others will. Opting out at last minute won't sit well with a lot of people.

You're assuming he'll be healthy and in the lineup when the Clippers come to town. I'll go with my gut when the time comes, if he's not at a screening come tip-off. If he's wearing those glasses he doesn't need, I might boo on principle. But I thank him profusely for the freedom and the cash and may say so if his suit and jewelry are really nice that night.

I wont boo him. ill be cheering for him while he tears monta a new one :P But yeah im sure the majority of the fans will for opting out last minute and signing with the clips. Its hard for the casual fan and all the new bandwagon fans to understand the business aspect of the NBA and just see it as baron fleeing and being a traitor. Im gona cheer for him.

No hard feelings from me. He went where he wanted to when he couldn't get a contract extension he was looking for here using a contract option he negotiated five years ago. Those booing him because of that would be doing so strictly out of jealousy.

Don't BOO him. Let's be original and accept the NBA and the game for what it is in the year 2008. He's done what's best for him and his career and i'll remember the good times like "the dunk" on Kirilenko. What an awesome smash and grab job he did for us. It would have been nice if we had received something in return for him but we did get him for Claxton and Dale Davis remember. So let's be original and applaud a Warrior that will be remembered for a long time in our great legacy that is the tortured souls of the Golden State Warrior fans.

I'm going to hold up my new #65 Todd Ramasar W's jersey

Baron did something that really helped the W's - how can we boo him?

But I'd still cheer the Clips on the other 78 times of the year, provided we don't meet in the postseason.

I don't think you have to worry about us meeting the Clipps in the post season, do the words "lottery bound" sound all too familiar to the Warrior faithful.
