Surely we won't part with Monta! What could these 3 teams possibly offer us that would entice us to part ways with Ellis.

Cavs? Only Lebron has anything of interest.

Miami? Marion, Beasley, Haslem?

Knicks? Crawford, Lee, Gallinari?

This off season will give me grey hair and urinating problems.

I assume this is just Monta's agent trying to stir up a market, but unless he's looking for an MLE deal it's not very relavent.

Well Monta's agent can eat ass cause were the ones driving FA prices up this off-season not vice versa.

Would anyone entertain losing Monta say for Beasley?

this is just another stunt by the media... and ellis's agent to get the warriors scared... so they could pay high for ellis..
ellis is getting signed 5/55 .. or 4/50 ish.. he's getting his 50 mil.

Is there really a point to this? Seriously? I mean, when your team only has the MLE to offer a guy that is due to make $10M a year, whats the point of even writing this garbage?

Right...that and the endless mindless gossip crap from Newsday's sport's page which just assumes EVERY star just yearns to be a Knick and every team will bow down :bowdown:

The Knicks and Caps barely have the trade chips to make a deal for Harrington. Miami? Are they offering Wade? Beasley? At the moment Marion-able to bolt next summer may not have big appeal to Mullin.....meanwhile.....is CJ Watson supposed to start?

If it was one of the very few teams with real cap space..maybe it means something. I'd LOVE for Monta to submit a low ball MLE deal for us to match.....and no way he would. Someone MIGHT be trying to get him to take QO and be a UFA later....but that sucks for him,his QO is quite low and none of these teams would be able to pay so much that he makes that up.

The story is fictional. Pure bogus. Monta may be a "wish List" guy...but those teams don't have what it would take....unless Miami really amazes us.

Crawford and Lee....that can get the Knix Al + Kosta. If they had 3 or 4 lotto picks....in a good draft.....maybe then we can talk about Ellis.

I def would. I think Beasley is a franchise builder where as (as much as i like him) I'm not sure Monta is

(its very Mitch Richmond Billy Owens though lol)
