I love Enes Kanter. He was hilarious on twitter last night. Told Jared dudley to hit the treadmill because he's got a retirement bod lmfao.

So that puts an end to having Blake wank stain Griffin in our division I guess. Was a rivalry for all of about 4 seconds, but I'm glad he's gone East. Hopefully that Pistons team gives the Celts and the Cavs hell. If they don't, the committed salary to Griffin and Drummond is hilariously stupifying.

For the Clips, I think they get a little better really in the short term. If they don't resign Bradley though, could be a big loss. The Detroit pick will likely be this year and not lotto now.

Blake trade is huge. Love the Clippers front court of Bradley and Beverly for defense.

Blake is not going to make an impact anywhere. His game is bad for this era. As a big man his offense is not good enough to create a system and his defense is average at best. And he is injury prone so West is spot on again!

Teodosic/Beverly
Bradley/Lou Williams/Rivers
Gallinari/Wallace/Johnson
T Harris/Harrell/Dekker
D Jordan/Boban

Unless they strike a seriously good chemistry, I see this team in late lotto mediocrity hell. Which is just great. :)

Disappointing thing is, they could have been headed towards a playoffs series against Houston.

They could still get there but without Blake vs. CP3, the mutual hate level isn't quite the same.

I think Rivers Jr will provide all the hate they need :eyebrows:

I think he meant from the Rockets, not from Clippers fans ;-)

Golf clap for the understated tone.

This might be the year Harden actually wins MVP.

Although if Boston were to get it done, Kyrie has to be a serious candidate. But I think this time Harden wont get overlooked. Its his to lose IMO.

I hate the guy, but that definitely deserves a tip of the cap, no matter how he did it. I'm not sure there is a wrong way to get a 60 point triple double.

Was anyone else watching that OKC/Denver game? That was one hell of a finish.

Yeah that was great.

I'm not suggesting this because of that shot today, but I've always thought that Denver has pieces that would be a great replacement IF, IF, IF Klay wanted to leave. Between, Harris, Barton and Murray, if we moved Klay to the Nuggs for 1 of them, plus added in some nice filler like Chandler, Manimal or even Plumlee, we could reboot without downgrading too much. I really like the Nuggs wings.

Did you guys catch Westbrook staying right next to the rim to get the 1 rebound for the triple double while the player he had to cover ran for the open 3?

Finish was pretty amazing. Murray and PG whose exploded the last month were on another level. Gravity and long range shooting aside, Murray for me is the closest thing I've seen to Curry in the NBA.

Murray is shooting 38% from distance this year, a big improvement over his rookie year.

If he continues to improve, he could be special.

You had one part of the post correct and it pertains to injuries. The rest is nonsense. Blake is a top 20 player in the league.

Pistons 2-0 since the trade.

Now that Blake is away from Hollywood, he may find a love for the game again. Never know. He and Drummond seem to be liking things early on.

The thing about a player like Blake, is him being in Detroit may actually woo some free agent signings there again. Detroit could be really good again shortly.

I have a serious man crush on Donovan Mitchell. That kid is advanced as a rookie that I've seen in a long time. The step backs, the rim cutting, the touch around the rim, the explosive finishing, the footwork, the presence of mind in a shot clock, the assertiveness amongst his peers, everything about that kid screams special special player. He is a future MVP, you heard it here.

To lose Hayward, then have Mitchell fall into your lap is just ridiculous fortune for Utah.
