Nets need to take down 2 birds with 1 stone Giannis and Raps. Then Nets and Blazers Finals would be lit

I just wish they had a couple rotation perimeter players who could defend..

Yeah, that perimeter D is biting them in the ass right now vs. Memphis, they're leaving guys wide open and 3s are raining. Memphis shooting 58% from 3 in the game through 3 quarters.

Giannis showing frustration on the court, head butting, planting stories in the media....the plan In case they lose is coming together nicely.

Well, I have to say that Toronto is probably higher on his list right now because of Majeri. So keep an eye on them as well.

Toronto is a threat for sure but they’re not higher on his list. He loves Curry and the Warriors offer a different level of exposure that people in his circle are pushing for.

How are Raptors Higher? They won't loose Giannis for free and Raps do not have the assets that Bucks would want in a trade. Siakam + picks is not better than Wiggins + a top 5 pick+ minny pick + future and why would they trade Giannis to a rival? Plus we have a higher chance to win than raps do because after they trade away Siakam which is a bad fit with Giannis btw they have no one on the roster. Old man Lowry/FVV/Powell or whoever they have won't be better than what GS would have left in a trade

It’s my opinion. The reason I said it was Majeri. He and Giannis have known each other a long time.

And.....just like with us, Giannis would have to demand the trade. Therefore the packages offered aren’t as important as Giannis being willing to play a strong hand to go where he wants. So disregard who may have the best package. Because it’s going to take Giannis for this to get done, whether it’s us or Toronto, or somebody else.

We have Wiggins, 2 lotto picks, Paschall, Poole to trade. If Giannis wants out how can you pass a top 5 pick and next year lottery pick plus a 20ppg young wing.

A) You know less than I do about this and shouldn't have posted it, lol.

B) Bucks very likely don't agree to trade him to Ws, at least not in 2020. Why would they? They are a top contender next season, and probably never will be again. And they are taking Wiggins, a high pick in a weak draft, a Wolves pick that might not pan out, and spare parts? You guys don't even have cap room coming up. This is muuuuuch more difficult that you are portraying it. This isn't a Kawhi or AD situation, as those teams didn't give up a shot at a title. This is LeBron heading into his final season in Cleveland. They knew he was leaving but opted to keep him, make the Finals, and then just let him go.

I wouldn’t count on the Wolves pick being lotto.

It’s impossible to predict.

Celtics are getting a #14 pick from Memphis and a couple of years ago or even last year, they were hoping for top 5 or even top 3.

I don’t know who you are or what you know but I’m very confident in what I was told and who told it to me.

I never said it would be easy to get Giannis. It’s actually the opposite and odds are it doesn’t happen but he for sure told Curry that he wants to play in the Bay and his business team and others in his inner circle would like to see it happen also.

First things first though. Gotta get a top 2 pick and then the Bucks lose in the playoffs. Then we see what happens.

True but that’s why you trade before things change. Maybe Jazz slip out the playoffs or injuries kill a playoff team and Wolvea get in.

I could be wrong, but seems like Bucks winning/losing won't change this scenario much... or at the very least I don't think the Bucks winning is some dealbreaker on getting Giannis.

Wouldn't it be alot easier for Giannis to keep his status with fans if the Bucks won a title and then he says "i've accomplished what I was after here, really happy for the city, but now i'd like to go on the a chapter with the Warriors"?

Seems to me that is the best way to avoid the KD backlash and still get what your after.

At this point I feel like it's more likely he leaves than not. I've probably watched more of Milwaukee than the Warriors in the last three or four seasons. This iteration of the Milwaukee teams doesn't have a lot of paths to improvement. Middleton is in his prime right now and he might get marginally better (mind you, he's a phenomenal player) but beyond that, the team is old. The Lopii are in their 30's, Wes Matthews might not have another NBA contract in him, Bledsoe is going to age terribly and got extended, George Hill is 35 and just got a new deal (!), Marvin Williams is old as hell, Korver is nearly 40.

Divicienzo and Connaughton are pretty much the only youngish guys that play in the Bucks rotation. I like DDV, but he's not going to become their third star. Connaughton is nice, but he's not a starter. Their play in the bubble has been atrocious and it's hard to see any team being scared of them. I just don't see how Milwaukee makes any meaningful improvements to their roster now.
