Consistency is the biggest issue for young players and I think Kuminga has shown he is getting the philosophy and is physically strong enough to earn more minutes as the season has progressed. It doesn't have to be an all at once and a black and white approach. Patience and working with the young guys in the background and then seeing how they respond seems like a wise choice IMO.

Curry seemed to rather like playing with Kuminga in the most recent game.

To be honest, Curry (or any other player) likes playing with pretty much anyone when you are up by 30+ points. When the game is tight and stress is through the roof, you can probably get a better sense of who he likes playing with and who he gets more annoyed with.

True, but Kuminga has played a few (shorter) stints in more pressure situations this year and hasn't embarrassed himself. He's clearly not just a guy who looks good in garbage time minutes. And I would think Steph would appreciate that.

Really the only concerning things for me with Kuminga (other than his shot selection which is a work in progress) are his lack of aggression/follow-through on rebounds and his somewhat soft screening technique. He's basically setting David Lee style screens where he makes a quick show into the position and immediately backs out, it's more the threat of a screen than an actual screen. Which can be effective in its own way but if he keeps doing that defenders will stop biting on the threat and know he's just going to pop off.

They're suppose to be checking Curry's hand because he landed on it, the same right hand which required surgery 2 years ago (and gave the Warriors the alibi to tank).

He did play after the injury, shook his hand off but maybe next day is when he could feel pain.

His rught hand has been banged up for weeks. He keeps irritating it in games. Broadcast crew didnt notice until most recent game, but going on longer. Im not sure if it connected to slump but the timing lines up.

Not only has Kuminga earned some run, we have to keep him with the big club right now simply due to his size.

Size was a bit of an issue for this team at full strength, and with Draymond out and Wiseman still not back, we’re one Looney injury (God forbid) away from playing who at the 5?

If you've never had YouTubeTV before, I believe theres a free 14 day trial (or at least there was) and they typically keep old Warriors games archived for a week or 2. Might be worth a shot
