Knicks have a 5 point lead over Kings at halftime.

JK has done well on LeBron over several games. But Wiggins also has done well on LeBron. LeBron is not all that tricky. You know what LeBron will try to do but can you stop it. Kuminga must stop LeBron from driving which is simple but difficult.
It’s Lebron chicken wing elbow push off that he gets away with. You need to have strength to withstand the first blow. Wiggins, Iguodala have it. JK is better as a 2. Moody is functionally stronger than JK and plays like small ball 4. The issue is Kerr wants to go smaller where every player has to guard a position up.

You cant really play jk at the 2 either because he's a poor screen navigator. But if you put him defending 2s, that leaves podz, cp3, klay, or steph as our big to rebound, protect paint, and box out.
Jk made a great weakside block tonight because it's easier for him when dray is controlling paint and wiggins in controlling top. Jk then needs to rebound and when he helps, it's usually just sliding 1 or 2 steps over. He's best at 4, but can look bad when it's the small ball line up. Wiggs has the same problem when he's the 4 with the 3 guards. He wants to spy and help, but now that leaves the paint empty usually with a couple of smalls. And we know kerr loves to trot out 3 smalls.

You left out Moodz. If Kerr would play him, he would be the equivalent of small ball 4. The upside of playing Moody is much greater than what Podz is giving. Podz has already reached his limits for this year.
This game showed that while the Lakers are still an inferior team. They are still slightly better than the Warriors with both sides healthy. It will be difficult to beat them in the playin with Kerr’s usual tactics. I would bet the Warriors to lose if Kerr runs the same BS he has. They have to get to 7th or 8th spot or they will be out.

This is kerr we are talking about, I didn't feel the need to mention moody.

closing lineup should always be:
Podz, Curry, Wiggins, Kuminga, Draymond

He's not going to close with that group.
He wants too close with steph, klay, podz, jk, and dray. The only reason he didn't last night was because wiggins had to do a jump ball, so he took podz out. Podz was shocked that he left the floor. Tells me that his closing unit is set. Refs saved kerr from himself.
No idea why no one in the media asks kerr about his insistence on playing 3 smalls, especially to close games when their lack of defense and rebounding becomes even more apparent.

But he didn’t really play with Steph. Wasn’t that the year Steph was out injured?
