Outside of Mobley there's not a ton I'd be interested in on Cleveland's roster. Garland looks great but too repetitive with Poole & Curry.

Maybe bring in a 3rd team & move Allen for pieces GSW wants?

I'd prefer to keep Wiggins but the fact that interest is already leaking is a good sign if GSW decides they want to control the cap a little.

assuming they want to unload Love in that deal. If that was the case, we'd better get back Okoro, the #14, and maybe a future pick.

If we are taking back Love that should be at least a future 1st lightly protected or #14 for #28 swap.

I have Wiggins worth a lot more than Okoro + a late 1st at this point.

Agreed. I don't really see a trade around Love/Okoro/picks being worth it unless this years #14 has Davis or Sochan slip... which just isn't going to happen. And I don't see them including guys like Jarrett or anyone else good even if Wiseman is included.

Well if the Warriors don't win a title, Lacob may be interested in lowering his tax bill.

So one way would be to not extend Wiggins, move his expiring deal.

If they don't extend wiggs, then he walks. He can't be sign and traded which is what the cavs are likely banking on or get him a year earlier for minimal cost.

He could be sign and traded when he's a FA a year from now.

I just don't see a trade that makes the Warriors better out there.

Age and loyalty really skew player perception here

If Wiggins was going on 32 playing his whole career here keeping him would be a foregone conclusion.. if he was 22 it’s be the same. But he’s 27 and only has 2 years here so trading him is realistic

Consider trading every player on the roster. What trade is out there that makes the team better this year? In the future?

Despite GSW and Suns playing great, I think the Nets and Bucks are still better placed to win the title. So if GSW wants to stack the odds in their favor, I think this trade would make them favorites over the other teams. Just look at that starting 5 and depth. Porzingis is that rim protector GSW needs, who stretches the floor and can also cut to the rim. Brunson is a quality back-up PG for when Steph is sitting. Bullock covers most of what y'all lose in Wiggins.

Well, well, well... still want some of that stuff I'm using? Turns out Brunson, Bullock and Porinzigis could have been exactly what the doctor ordered for GSW... and that 10-man rotation (along with GP2) might have walked its way to the title, especially since the Bucks lost and the Nets imploded. :P

That would have been a laughably horrendous trade and still is. Porzingis is not a winning player and he's on a $35M+ contract next year. So we are getting dead weight, a 6'1" PG that doesn't play defense who's going to demand a $25m contract and a nice wing defender for our entire youth movement. It's funny you say that team would walk it's way to a title because I'm not sure Kristaps' doctors allow him to walk more than a mile at a time anymore.

Awful trade. VTB.

Howdi, Bulls fan in peace. How about this for a trade idea?

Vuc/PWill for Wiggins?

Who says no?

Gives you some CAP relief after next season & Williams has 2 years left on his rookie deal.

I doubt the Warriors consider something like this.

Problem is Williams plays a very similar role to Kuminga and Vuc is dead weight useless to GSW’s system whereas Wiggins is an integral part to their system.

I’d still be interested in acquiring PWill but not if it meant swapping Wiggins for Vuc.

Wiggins is amazing for this team. He's essentially a swiss army knife type player that does whatever is asked of him and never complains. The role he has now suits him perfectly and I don't see him doing as well anywhere else, especially not on a young team that needs veteran leadership. Hopefully he realizes this is the best place for him to be for the next few years and re-signs with us.

I'm predicting he'll sign an extension this summer for around 4yr/$80-100M. He's happy here, the W's are happy with him, and I don't think he'd get much more (if that) anywhere else a year from now. And who knows what could happen in a year. Too many examples of career-threatening injuries out there.

warriors say no. warriors want more rings. not cap relief. they will get all the cap relief they want when the big 3 retire in a few years.
