My main hope at this point is that this doesn't put another black eye on the Dubs medical staff. They probably shoulda went with the typical meniscus surgery where they just remove it.

This is not on Wiseman, this situation has to do with Warriors medical staff.
It was a bad decision to repair and not cut off the teared meniscus.
Rose lost one year with the same decision and Wiseman is the same case.

Wiseman is young and a meniscus tear is not a big injury.
When he will have a serious medical treatment he will be ok

Oden, really? Why not Embiid, who played 0 games his first two years and 31 his third.

I'm seriously worried about his mental health tbh. He's already had some pretty big struggles in that area and we all know what happened with Oden and the substance abuse. I don't claim to know what's going on, I just hope the guy has help.

Retaining Looney was always necessary.

We may need to cut somebody and sign a center.

Aside from the Rose part, all of this is either untrue or wild speculation

The typical, more successful, and overall better surgery is always to repair

Why does this happen with every major injury? Where are you guys getting your info from??

Ok this is ridiculous. Shutting him down the rest of the regular season plus playoffs because his knee has inflammation would just be stupid overkill at this point. Pretty sure Wiseman wants to play. For the love of god take another week off if need be and then go out and play through it. How many times did Steph get back on the court and play through it.

Besides speculation on this board, has anyone said he's shut down for the season? The last from Steve Kerr was that he won’t go on road trip next week. No decision about rest of season.

Fair enough, should have looked more carefully.

Just reacted after seeing the front page article.

"With just 12 games remaining in the Warriors season, it's increasingly likely Wiseman won't play for Golden State this season"

I guess it’s better, but he’s gonna be done with his rookie contract by the time it heals. Ron Artest was back in 3 weeks after they removed his.

He has two more seasons under contract...

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Tears are not uniform. The depth, the angle, the specific location, if it’s clean/jagged.. all these things matter. And that’s only relative to the meniscus and has nothing to do with surrounding areas that are also hurt

should have been traded last year when it was **** obv to anyone with a brain how much of a bad fit he was in this offense (let alone even before the draft).

Well that sucks.

On the bright side with the Curry injury, we may be moving up in the draft.
We're currently slotted at the #28th pick with Miami right on our butt. Utah and Milwaukee have a shot to catch us depending on if Belly and Lee play. If Belly and Lee play heavy minutes, we could get all the way to #21 (DAL, DEN, PHI, BOS). Heck if they start we can sneak into the play-in and get ourselves a lottery pick! Win the lottery and the rebuild is back on track!

Play like **** for Chet.
