josh smith is really going to open up greg monroe's game. I wish I had noticed it earlier but he's the perfect pf for Monroe type centers (ie offensive centers that play no defense). And now that he's not asked to score as much he can concentrate on the things he does do well. He's like the new aged rasheed wallace or the rim protecting version of iguoldala.

Bulls vs. Knicks...ugly...both teams might be good teams overall..but both play some ugly ball.

Rose is still figuring out what NBA speed looks like. There were several times where he tried to dart into closing holes and either got blown up or barreled through and couldn't slow down. They'll need some time to gel, but the defense they play will carry them.
Knicks look bad. Hardaway is the poor man's JR.

Re: Around the NBA II
Yea a monta/Dirk pick is going to be deadly, someone is getting a good look. That's why having a shooter that sets the pick is deadly, which is a big reason why Ryan anderson or Kevin Love would be deadly with Steph. Someone is getting an open look from 3 instead of the mid range shots Lee gets. It would put so much pressure on the defense to guard that.

Raptors willing to move everyone but Jonas. Lowry would be a nice addition.

Dallas has great offense it's their defense that will be their downfall.

i'd rather go after Amir Johnson. We need a big that can cover ground and slow down opposing pgs from going whereever they want. We currently have no bigs that can do that. I just don't know how we do that with no 1st to trade atm.

I'd give my left arm if we could have Amir at the 4 instead of Lee. The most criminally underrated player on the planet.

Is Philly a fluke? USA today picked them to win 13 games this year.

Lowry would be great but he would never re-sign here, because he wants to be a starter somewhere. And he should be.

I don't understand as to why this is being mentioned, fully hope that the Sixers plummet back to reality or rather expectations sooner rather than later, however the Bobcats had a single good win during that stretch, that win was by a single point other than that they were beating the other cellar dwellers. Sixers have toppled 3 supposed playoff teams, 2 of which were supposed contenders. Realistically, they got rid of Jrue and replaced him with MCW, ET seems to be benefiting from having the offense run through him and playing like he was supposed to coming out of college, Thad and Hawes are reaping the rewards as well. Other than that roster swap they replaced Dorell Wright and SwaggyP on the bench with players that actually try on a nightly basis, if Hinkie doesn't dismember this team than I'm worried, especially if they do allow Noel to return and getting Moultrie back, maybe JRich even off the bench. That Sixers team last year won 34 games and I don't see that significant a drop off.
