That would be a no. Sorry. Zero offensive capability whatsoever, and not really that good at defense either.

Fair enough. I haven't watched him for a while.

Agreed. Harkless feels like one of the better "realistic" scenarios.

Harkless would be a hugely underwhleming signing. I've never been impressed by the guy, he just doesn't do anything above average. He's a poor man's Crowder. No thanks for the MLE. He'd just be competing with Lee and Mulder for minutes.

He’s probably 1 of the better defending wings in fa. His offense is pretty meh but he’d fill in the gaps defensively.

Warrior scouts need to do deep research and find a guy like Trey Burke. Talented players who had a not so great NBA start and need to make a name for themselves. Trey was a dog this year for the Mavericks. Fit in very well as the bench scoring point guard.

Warriors need to fire Kirk, Kent and Larry *Yi Jianlian* Harris and then raid the Miami front office for talent

He's actually a sneaky good passer on the short roll but that's about it. Some or the worst hands in the NBA and really one dimensional on both sides of the ball. We could definitely do a lot better, even for the minimum.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

With no Larry Harris supposedly the Warriors don't have Curry and no Curry no titles. And I have no idea what Kirk and Kent have done as far as talent gathering, let alone done poorly.

Harris wasn’t the reason we got Curry. He wasn’t with us. That was Larry Riley and Nellie.

Harris was the GM of Milwaukee when we got Bogut. Thank him for that.

Since the Barnes draft things have been questionable.

Anyone else interested in bringing GRIII back as a 3&D wing piece off the bench?

Harris was actually with the Warriors when we traded for Bogut. He's been in the Warriors org since 2009. If I recall, he helped facilitate the deal with Milwaukee because he knew the front office well.

Larry was a train wreck in Milwaukee ..he would have been perfect here during the Cohan era

I'd like GR3 if we have an end of bench spot available with a vet min. I'd be slightly disappointed if we used MLE on him, but he was pretty solid in his short stint with us. Shot well, tried on defense, rebounded okay. But i'd much rather he be a 9-12 in the rotation than a 6-8 in rotation.

Joe Lacob said he’d have “only the very best” at every position in the organization ..At first he was right on course to do just that..But .now we have Kirk Lacob, Larry Harris and Kent Lacob as Bob Myers #2 , #3 and #4 assistant GM’s/lead scouts

GR3 gave us equal, if not better statistical production than Barnes did in his best years here. The only difference is Robinson is 2 inches shorter. He'd be great as the 9-12.

Absolutely.

GR3 fits perfectly as a low-usage offensive option, getting wide-open 3's created by the spacing afforded by Curry and Klay, and Draymond's court vision. He was successful with us last year in a role that had him trying to create and score more than he's probably able to, and if you move him to being a true secondary scorer role, he'd be super-efficient, IMO.

I think he should definitely be a target as a back-up.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

40% from 3 and is a wing for cheap. Yes bring him back. And he seemed to be well liked and he liked it here.

My favorite minimum (or near minimum) contract options right now:

Wing: Glen Robinson III, Josh Jackson
PG: Frank Jackson

I really like the idea of signing both Jacksons to add some youth with plenty of upside to the roster. Josh would be a great versatile defender from Day 1, and he has progressed a lot on the offensive end. Frank is super athletic at the PG spot and can score when given the opportunity. I think he'd flourish playing consistent minutes behind Steph in Kerr's system.

Definitely. I would go after him and Ariza. We need wing depth to battle the western conference wings.

Going out on a limb here in predicting it will take more than vet min to get Robinson back.

Well it depends. He has said he loved his time here and wouldn’t mind coming back. He made 1.88 mil last season. I think vet mil is around 2.5 or something

Saw this today on DJ Augustin as a vet ring chaser,

"Augustin is a great fit for the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry will be healthy again, and the Warriors could use a back-up. Ky Bowman and Jordan Poole are not going to cut it for a contending team. Augustin has experience, is calm on the ball, and can lead a bench unit."
