You guys won the coin flip.

Same thing happened to the Wizards last year. We won the coin flip vs. the Clippers. We ended up at 5, and they ended up taking Griffin.

Just cause you want johnson doesn't mean any of us, including Nellie, want Wes Johnson...

This goes to show how crucial the trade w/the Nets was this past offseason.... now we can move this pick to a team that covets one of the mid-high level prospects in the draft.. there's always one that shoots up the draft rankings after combines/workouts, and we're in prime position to auction our pick off to whichever team wants said player most... we also have 10m in expirings in Buke/Vlad.

Not a great day but we're far from screwed here

I say take Al Farouq! He has very good potential in the run and gun offense and defending bigger 2 guards...This is my pick for the W's!! 2nd option take a chance on Whiteside and bring in a big man coach and strength trainer for him

Trading the pick scares the crap outta me. Look at what the Wizards got for their pick last year. If we do something like I'm quitting the internet.

Well you definately havent seen him play and/or are a horrible scout either way you fail.

Johnson is the best fit for our roster as is. With his addition we wouldnt Have to move anyone we like to make room for him. His game is more developed then alot of the other prospects and he as the ideal frame to play SF for the Dubs and could be a lockdown defender. Good catch and shoot guy, good moving without the ball, 3pt range and long wingspan.

The Trick is to convince someone above us that Aminu is the better.

Nellie and Riley >>>> who was it? Grunfeld?

I'm confident that whatever move we make is going to be the correct one... if there's no trade, there are still excellent role players available at 6

Strap the f :censored: ing #6 pick to Corey Maggette's back like Wylie Coyote to an ACME rocket and light that candle.

Dump the 6th pick.

No Turner. No Cousins. No Sale. Pfft.

Who do we tank for next year?

You know what...you actually did a decent comparison good job kid. Out of those three Johnson is the no brainer pick if we keep it.

If we trade it I see the obvious trade would be expirings/6th for Iggy since its pretty much sealed that their taking Turner.

Agree on PHI taking Turner. They have no problems in the post so they obviously need a slashing, decent passing SG to replace their slashing, decent passing SG

and  @ wanting a Rudy Gay over a Brad Miller... this is still the NBA right? Size still wins?

I feel you sleepy. I predict us to end up in the lottery once again.

Rusty Simmons on KNBR reported how the Warriors FO thought Wes Johnson was most able to contribute right away and that he'd be their selection over Favors or Cousins due to them trying to save their asses. They don't want another project. BFD, your jobs are toast in half a year anyway losers.

BTW I see Johnson as very comparable to Josh Childress. Both are long, athletic, jump shooters who couldn't dribble to save their lives. Should be adequate on defense.

Nellie is going to fall in love with Monroe's passing skills. Steph also gets his PF to run the pick and roll with from day one.

Thats actually a lot better IMO than Rudy Gay, the comparison that is... a better shooting Childress. Impact on winning games: 0.

It will be a thing of beauty. Monroe will have to play C in this league though.

:meditate: doesnt take a genius to tell Johnson was the best fit the smart ones have been saying it for awhile now and the others are still talking about the tall feather people.
