Been watching Craft for a while...was high on him last year.

But now for this draft and our situation I think he'd be an awesome fit....at around 6'4" and strong I love the idea of him backing up the PG spot or playing the two as a backup.....he can run a team and I don't see him as a starter, but his perimeter defense is awesome. He also has really good handles.

Smart, strong, handle, defense, decent efficient scorer, good free throw shooter....I love this kid for us....perfect enetual Jack replacement.

I would like W's trying to steal Horford from Hawks with Klay, Lee (flipped to other team for assets - Hi, Toronto), 2014 first.

Horford will be 27 this summer, go with the core of Curry/Barnes/Horford. If Bogut stays, Ws frontcourt would instill horror around the league.

So here's where I point out that Curry's TS% is almost 8 %-points lower (51% on 210 FGA) when Klay is on the bench. :o

It gives me pause. Also the fact that Jack might not be coming back, means we pretty much start from scratch at the SG position. I really like Horford though. Maybe they could give us back Jenkins who we could reunite with Festus. :D

This is why i would rather trade Barnes than Klay. Klay allows for others to do better because he always needs to be accounted for and provides invaluable spacing, even when he's off

I think Barnes will warrant the same, he still has a long way to go before he hits his ceiling. I wouldn't trade him at least for another year. He shows real signs of being something special.

And some were saying that Klay and Curry don't work???

I think you let Barnes go if you think he's not going to continue to develop. I'm on the fence about him. While I do think he's made some progressions this year, I don't ever see him becoming the iso scorer this team desperately needs. So, I'd agree that for now I'd rather keep Klay. Spacing is very important and Klay can provide that while supplying good defense in his own right. I give Klay's chances of developing into a deadly scorer a bit higher than Barnes. Klay's issues are with shot selection and decision making. I think those are more easily correctable than Barnes learning to become an off the dribble scorer.

The worst thing we can do is fall in love with our own players, so I wouldn't be sad to see HB go if we're getting an established vet who cures some of our weaknesses: mainly isolation scoring and getting to the free throw line.

The thing that kinda scares me about trading HB is the fact that he's so young. 20 years old (almost 21)...vs Klay who's 23. Who knows what Barnes could be when he's 23? Maybe he makes very little progress...or maybe he grows his game a lot and is able to use his athleticism to his fullest potential. Unless we are trading for a very solid player (A Horford type being the floor), I would really hesitate on giving up on him now. I really hope he locks himself in the gym this summer and does dribbling drills for hours and hours to tighten that handle. He also needs to work on his distribution skills...lots to work on I guess.

I wouldn't trade Klay or Barnes, unless it was a package for one of the NBA elite. I have seen such tremendous improvement by both players and think there is plenty of ceiling left for both.

Why are we always trading everybody? There's no reason to trade anybody right now. We're not getting a superstar by trading a bunch of middling players anyway.

The cap situation in the next offseason will pretty much limit the Warriors' options. And no one is taking on RJ or Biedrins for a quality player. Even if Rush and Landry were to opt out (not likely for Rush, possible for Landry), the Warriors would not have much room salary-wise.

Next year we have the pieces to trade for a superstar. Young prospects; Draft pick; Major expirings

Though i doubt there's a superstar available. Lebron 2014!

He's not showing up on the mocks in either round, but I'd have to believe that GM's know more about this kid than do these draft sites, which over hype freshmen. They ignore solid upper classmen every single year.

And even last year many were lamenting about losing our pick and not having picks, but Meyer grabbed a late first, another second, and we tanked to preserve our own. So I wouldn't count the front office out on not having any picks currently. They will probably do something, and its the way for a team at the luxory line to add talent on the cheap.

Gigi Datome from Italy's Roma.

6'8" forward with a beautiful jump shot...something like 54% from the field...45% from 3, and 96% from the line....I don't care if its the YMCA league, those are impressive shooting numbers.

He also blocks a few shots and is athletic...reminds me of Shved from Minnesota.

that's very impressive. He's definitely a shooter who would be worth a look. if he can play anytype of defense he'd have tremendous value.

Did a quick google search and he's being scouted by toronto, the bucks, and the celtics.

Or Sofoklis Schortsanitis, who I think was actually drafted but I'm not sure if he ended up playing. 6'9" 340 pounds...yeeeeesh.

Those shooting numbers are eye popping though. And he plays 30 minutes per and shoots often enough, so its not a fluke.

100% co-sign. We have a young team, are going to have lots of cap space and a new arena in SF to help lure free agents to a young competitive core. We need to be patient.

I couldn't believe so many people wanted to trade cap space, HB and more to overpay Rudy Gay
