Right there with ya. He has solidified the 6th spot for me now, and thats mainly because the top 5 is just so incredibly good this year. I want to hop above Kuminga, but he's got serious potential at being a Tatum type of player. Every once in a while I wonder if I'm sleeping on Kuminga when his upside might be higher than anyone in the draft...
Kuminga is pretty far behind Tatum as a polished scorer at the same age though he did start basketball at a later stage in life. He seems much more like a Jaylen brown to me where he has the athleticism and tools but will need to polish his skills. It may take him longer to become an all star type player but he definitely has that type of potential.
I’m not sure what type of ceiling sengun has as of right now. Is it jokic, love, cousins, sabonis or valanciunas?
Agreed on Kuminga. Watching Kuminga play just made me appreciate Green more. Loads of potential sure but he's not "there" yet.
I'd stay away from Kuminga. He's young and inconsistent from the G-League games he's played. I'm sure you'd agree he wouldn't fit into the timeline of Curry, Thompson, and Green.
