Yeah lets trade for Herro, who's looking for $40 million plus in the next season or two, so he can chuck all game long.

By the trade deadline y'all will be begging to trade JK again. This is the cycle.

All preseason and now the first game of the season JK has done everything Kerr has asked of him....the guy just turned 23, Draymond was a year out of college at the same age, there is no rule that JK can't improve as a player.

Bad night to be a JK hater. Looks like the most important people are in his corner. Both Dray and Jimmy thinks he can/will be a great player. I’m excited for the guy.

One win in the bank.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Jk was great but you saw that he couldn't finish in the paint and his threes were dropping. He will need to maintain his 3p% in the 37-38% to be effective

They may have to trade him but hopefully it won’t be for a poor fit checker who’s looking for a huge extension, way more money than JK was looking for.

We totally should have traded him for Devon Carter or just salary relief to sign a NTMLE player late in the summer. The JK haters will never accept that a 22yo has the capacity to improve

AirP - thanks for posting. I was wondering if Smart was trying to injure Curry. Not a good sign if other teams decide to try that. The NBA and its players have, for the most part, done a good job of keeping the game from becoming Rollerball. Scary if that should change.

Warriors looked fresher in the 4th.

Luka wore down and nobody else but Reaves (and Ayton for stretches, lol) had any chance to get into the game offensively. Under appreciated flaw of a superstar centric offense if they aren't diligent about keeping teammates heads in it.

This is just marcus smart coming to grips with the fact that he's no longer the player he used to be. I don't think this is a league wide issue. Plus, smart and steph have history going back to, at least, '22 when steph missed the last month of the season because smart dove through the back of his knee for a loose ball. It was a blessing in disguise as steph got like a month of rest before coming back and eviscerating the celtics, and smart in particular, two months later.

Ayton - 35 minutes, 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 blk, 4 TO against a mostly small team.

I assume starting lineup will change against the Nuggets?

You forgot to include just awful effort on both ends of the court but it's understandable considering that's the most consistent part of Ayton's game.

I thought so too, before the game, but these 5 not only started, but closed the game, with JK being the biggest surprise. I can def see JK starting Thu considering we won't be playing most of our stars in b2bs this season, at least, that's my guess. If moody can go, maybe he starts?

Oh I didn't even factor in the back to back, I suppose Horford is only playing one of those

My hope would be dray, jimmy, and steph (in the order) also not play both games of any b2b this season. we may need to in the next week considering the next 4 games are both b2bs but my hope is we don't run these guys into the ground early on even if it means taking an extra L or two.

If jk can learn to play like Jimmy, he’d be really good. Jk having someone to model his game after and see that it gets paid will do wonders for him. He’s doing a great job this season / preseason
