Do free agents not know we have 3 spots available and the 8th man spot is up for grabs?

They are going to teams with more money or a better chance of winning. I feel like most here view this team as more of a contender than the league does.

Of the people who have signed for around the min, only 1, maybe 2, really could have fit here. Grabbing the popular name fans like - Jamychal Green - means little. Fit is what matters.. and aside from OPJ, none of the good fits here were ever popular signings. Not worried until they bring in a BBIQ deficient

Still a lot to like here.. would expect one from each category. Saric still most likely to come here. Maybe Craig.. aside from Yuta not really pressed about any signings so far. Maybe Crowder but re-signing on a contender > signing on a contender

Yea the only one disappointing is Yuta. The rest are meh. It’s more so I’m ready to see who we sign.

Some people on Twitter speculating we may be looking into siakam, which put our free agency plans on hold. Since siakam supposedly on the market again.

With the news of the Warriors signing Cory Joseph I would be in heaven if they can somehow turn CP0 into Siakam. I am guessing JK would have to be included in any trade for Siakam and the Warriors better not be looking to add Wiggins to that deal over Paul....

I don't see any steam for a Siakam trade from anywhere. Joseph is taking the role Ty Jerome would have occupied, but Ty signed with Cleveland.

Really the Toronto board has an 11 page thread since it was reported yesterday that siakam is being shopped.

The Toronto board has an 11 page thread if one of their players farts. I scanned it, there's one tweet by a writer many of them say has been wrong many times before. There's also a report that Siakam likes Toronto and doesn't want to extend elsewhere, making trades involving him potentially difficult.

I also didn't see a single report mentioning our team... plus I think once we acquire CP3 we can't trade him until like January, so you'd be talking trading Klay I think. Tough to really give this any energy.

If you skimmed the thread then you’d see there’s other people corroborating the report and not just grange.

Yes no one official has said we have sniffed around but we’ve spoken to them before.

Is the cp3 trade even official yet?

There was one guy quoting Grange, and then Zach Lowe speculating on his podcast that Siakam would make sense to move. Neither is saying we're a likely destination. CP3 trade is official July 6th.

So we’d be able to amend the trade still …

You think we'd bring in Cory Joseph as the primary replacement for Poole?

Joseph replaces Jerome.. there has never and will never be a big roster move that hinges on a Cory Joseph deal

We’d be trading jp for siakam. Joseph would then be our back up pg since cp is gone. Our backup sg is podz and still is podz. Our back up pg last year was draymond.

Well, you were the one talking about the Warriors' possible interest in Siakam for being the reason that they haven't picked up any free agents.

If the Dubs are interested in Siakam I am guessing JK has to be in the deal so who would the salary ballast be for Siakam? Wiggins, Paul or Klay?
