I can't believe people want to bring Iguodala back. He's not just on the downside of his career, he is completely washed. Besides, the Heat are not going to pick up his option, if you really want him pick him up this summer on a min contract.

Exactly. It's weird how much this board is obsessed with retreads.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Oubre to Miami for Iggy + 2025 lottery protected 1st.

Poole looks like he can take some minutes and Bazemore could start. Iggy would provide another facilitator with the bench unit and play with the starters.

Heat get a big wing that can defend and play some small ball 4 with Bam while getting out of a year of Iggy.

I think the Heat may be interested even if we didn't include a pick since they need to shed some salary to sign Oladipo this summer. If Oladipo decides to go to NYK then Miami can just re-sign Oubre. Jimmy would probably love it because he will have someone to hit up the night clubs with during the off-season.

Night clubs? Oubre just got engaged a few months ago, and TMZ says he has a jelly ex trying to sue him for $3M and the 2 dogs he had when they were together.

That aside, I don't see Miami trading another 1st and having to go through OKC to remove the 2023 protections except for a star. I wouldn't say no to whichever of Nunn or Robinson they less prefer to re-sign, though.

Oubre for Lonzo.
Wiseman, Wiggins for Nikola Vucevic.
Just these two move make Warriors a threat to WCF this year.
Lonzo, Curry, Wiggins, Green, Vucevic.
Next year
Lonzo, Curry, Klay, Green, Vucevic (trade Wiggins with one more year left on contract for cap relief)

One of the "all-in" scenarios i'd offer:

Warriors get: Beal, Vucevic
Magic get: Oubre, Wiseman
Wizards get: Wiggins, 2021 Min 1st, 2022 GSW 1st, 2025 GSW 1st

warriors cant trade their 2025 first. also wizards will pass, the gsw 2022 would be a late first and they have to eat wiggins contract.

I'll put it out there.. if I'm the Wizards? I'd be all over a deal like this. Well.. maybe not this exact deal. But more to the point - Westbrook erases the idea of them having capspace to use in the next 2.5 seasons. So adding a player like Wiggins, who's in the same boat, should appeal to them - provided that they are compensated well for doing so.

I'm not sure this gets Beal from them - in fact I'm fairly sure it doesnt - but I dont think Wiggins would be a prohibitive add for them. Dare I say, he'd be a target.

But that said, the Warriors, if they are willing to pay the tax, are in a unique situation themselves, where shedding Wiggins salary doesnt really affect their ability to add players. So they have less incentive to move him than other teams with bad contracts

I hope Beal ends his career with DC.

We are NOT getting Vucevic. The Magic are said to be asking a TON for him...

https://news.yahoo.com/trade-rumor-rankings-nikola-vucevic-174548056.html

“They’d have to get a motherload for him,” another league source with knowledge of the situation said. Orlando would likely require a starting player and multiple first-round picks as a baseline for any Vucevic haul, sources said.

Anyone who pays that price needs to have their head examined.

I am having an irrational desire to get Lonzo for Oubre to the point where I am rooting for him to play poorly for the Pels to help get it done. Last night he helped out by turning it over on an inbounds play up 1 with under 5 seconds left that led to a loss...keep it up Lonzo! I will say that NAW and Kira Lewis look promising for NO and with Bledsoe on the roster already maybe they do move Lonzo.

I'm with you on hoping Lonzo plays bad so Warriors can get him for cheaps but did you watch the play? Lonzo threw the ball right into Alexander-Walker hands. Walker just looked away and fumbled the ball out of bounds.

If we can get it done for, say, Oubre and Wanamaker (which works salary wise) I think it makes sense.

Wiseman & Oubre for Wood. Wood is 2 inches shorter and he's putting up numbers that we won't see from Wiseman until year 3 minimum. That would line up perfectly with the Hou rebuild.

I could live with that. I'd have a problem giving up assets for a guy whos so clearly a 4, and then we force him to play the 3. Frankly I think he's a slightly better Oubre
