As for LeBron and Michael.....LeBron is a physical freak.....Jordan was a competitive freak...he would challenge anyone to anything at anytime....don't like comparisons between them....not anything that can be proven.

Here's one....who's the best in game dunker of all time? I'm going with Dr J

In game? Yeah... Dr J. Although, that Olympic dunk by Carter is easily the best in-game dunk of all time.

Andrew Bynum suspended indefinitely for the ever-popular "conduct detrimental to the team". Did I miss some story that explained what exactly he did? Or just Andrew being Andrew?

Man, New York basketball sucks, and it looks dire for their futures as well.

Agreed. Set the nostalgia aside and LeBron is on pace to surpass Jordan in every major area. Definitely an un-popular viewpoint, but I think it's pretty irrefutable. Also think the only reason Kobe/Mj should be compared is because they are both jerkoffs who only care about winning. Skill-wise I'd put Kobe closer to AI;. Also controversial I suppose!

Shawn. Kemp.

He didn't just want to dunk on you, he wanted to crush your soul. One of the nastiest dunks I have ever seen:

Guys not mentioned who get my votes for in game dunks are Connie Hawkins, David Thompson, Darryl Dawkins and Spencer Haywood.

Yeah Kemp was a feared power dunker back in the day, but Dr. J was prolific throughout his entire career with some of the more famous dunks in Playoff games. He doesn't get enough credit from the youngsters who don't know any better.

Rethink your drink. J was a dunk artist. Kemp was a dunk psychopath.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RyriC4Te_-s

The only reason there weren't more Alton Lister moments is because people ran away from Kemp when he went to the hole. He was a totally unique athlete at 6'10. No one else like that before or since. J was of course a vastly superior player, but when it came down specifically to the art of smashing on your mom, Kemp > all. An yes, I saw J play. A lot.

Of course J didn't have the advantage of a pound of cocaine in his system at all times. Cocaine is a helluva drug

Or being 6'11"....having said that I'd bet that J's hands are as big as Kemps were.

As much as I hate Griffin, he has to be in the conversation. He was compared to Kemp a lot in his early days.

He's had some nuts dunks, but he doesn't have any longevity yet at smashing it home on peoples heads. As time goes by, I think he'll become more of a jump shooter.

Kemp was also the most magnificent big man in the open court we've ever seen. He could handle, he was creative and he was hyper skilled for a 6'10 as flat out top gear speed. No one his size could run with him. No one over 6'8 could run with him. Blake doens't have that speed or Kemp's handle, which were essential elements in his ability to create smash on your whole family opportunities for himself, even without lobs or pick and roll feeds. Kemp would break ankles and then break spirits.

Basically he was who we thought Anthony Randolph would become. :(

Statistically, Shawn Kemp is probably everyone's daddy. Just sayin.

Kemp, and the entire 1993 Supersonics and 76ers squads we're all Wilt's grandchildren.

I wish I could have seen Kemp play in his prime - all replays I've seen are absurd. He's just downright nasty. I think what separates him from Blake are that a) he's a bad ass that will womp on you if you get in his way and b) he didn't give a damn what happened to him on any given dunk. Prob the drugs and alcohol, but he was ruthless with no regard for his life or others.
