So what is your deal?

Some delusional Warriors fans definitely think he is.

Really? I haven't noticed that, maybe you could point to someone, delusional or not, who said he was "untouchable."

I was speaking in general.

No need to get your panties in a bunch.

Why would you come to another teams board and tell them what they should do?

If youre offering Siakam for Wiggins straight up, lets talk. If you aren't, why do you think Siakam is untouchable?

I am simply saying that some folks think that Wiggins is untouchable, which clearly isn't the case.

I never said that Siakam is untouchable lol.

Don't get so worked up about this.

We have a trade thread dedicated to Wiggins.

This guy comes in this thread and tells us that delusional Warriors fans think Wiggins is untouchable.

I will add to the chorus. If Siakam is so great despite being injured and having a huge and long contract with Toronto, keep him.

You don’t have to convince us, you probably don’t even have to convince Myers and/or Lacob et fils. Convince Steph.

You have yet to point to a single person anywhere who has said Wiggins is untouchable. Just talking bs.

I’d say Wiggins + 7 + 14 is untouchable for an injured Siakam.

Even for a healthy Siakam, it's a lot. Going back to the other thread, I would much rather do something like the (theoretical) #7 + #14 + Poole for #4 (Suggs), where we keep both Wiggins and Wiseman, and add a blue-chip rookie who can help us both next year and in the future (Suggs isn't gonna be a project like Wiseman). Suggs also likely solves our Steph off-court drastic drop-off issue at PG and would be great in a small-ball lineup alongside the starters as well.

I would sooner give up a future first than Poole in that sort of deal. He's a known quantity and at this stage of the warriors development, we need known quantities. Especially when our rotation is not exactly championship quality right now.

Definitely.

I'm really curious to see what kind of improvement Poole is gonna bring to his game in the coming season.

If he has another mini-leap in him, we would have a low-level starter quality kind of player.

Based on his age and the unexpected improvement he had on his 2nd season, it's certainly doable.

I still think you all are way overrating Poole. I don't dislike him, but he's rarely a difference-maker on offense (and he's erratic) and he's a negative on defense. Furthermore, he's not a point guard (while Suggs is). In Jordan Poole, you're seeing Tim Hardaway Jr. or Kendrick Nunn and I'm seeing Nick Young. Yes, I get that he's not a finished product yet, maybe he could improve more, but he's not a guy I particularly want to rely on in playoff games either. You're really going to let a guy who shot 43% (35% from 3) in his "improved" season keep you from getting someone like Suggs (who I think would be at least as reliable and more versatile out of the gate)?

Dont really mind the Suggs stuff - its not gonna happen - but..

Poole, at age 21, had a better season than any of Nick Young's seasons, save 1, his 31 year old season with the Lakers.

Nick Young entered the league at 22 years old

He has a real chance of being a 15 ppg on 60% TS scorer next year, at 22. And that's assuming Klay, Steph and Wiggins are sucking up all the shots.

Interesting question. I'd say poor man's Steph since he's faster than Steph but is probably going to struggle to shoot as well as him outside or inside, but he's already shown more to his game than Seth has.

I want to see him take better advantage of his speed, he can break down teams with his speed. Then he can develop his changeup and will be able to create a lot more shots for himself and others.

I just recall Poole missing a couple of wide open 3s including a corner 3 in the play in games.

He can’t miss those if he wants to get minutes in big games and playoffs games.

Among the trades, it’s likely an EC team and a team which disappointed, like the Pacers.

Kings would be wary of trading with GSW, but I’d for for Harrison B. not Hield.

He's had playoff series where he shot like 67% from one of the corners.

In any event, Harrison Barnes missed those and fans here were ready to throw him to the wolves.
