Miami has developed yet another undrafted player. Over the last 7 games, Turkish center Omer Yurtseven is averaging 13 boards / 9 points in Bam Adebayo's absence.

Some of the defense (or lack thereof) in this Portland/Lakers game is hilarious.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

LeBron vs Karl Malone at the same age

- BPM: 7.0 vs 6.3
- TS+: 111 vs 110
- NRtg: +9 vs +12

Malone played 81 games and the Jazz finished with the 6th best record in the NBA and the 3rd highest SRS. LeBron and the Lakers won't sniff that. He's toast.

Just turned 37, 5 mins to go in the 2nd Q and he has 25 and 10

I'll take some of that toast thanks

These Blazers are one of the worst defensive teams I've ever seen. Not saying LeBron isn't great but...let's take tonight's stat line with a grain of salt.

He hasn't scored under 30 in his last 7 games, and all above 50% FG, with at least 7 boards (up to 14)

How about we just enjoy and appreciate him while we still can

Yeah remember after the Warriors beat the Cavs for the first title, there were questions whether Bron had too much mileage on his legs because in the regular reason he shot really poorly outside the paint, so midrange jumpers and 3-pointers.

That was 6-7 years ago.

He's clearly worked on his 3-point shot, so even if he's not as unstoppable going downhill, he's more of a threat from behind the arc.

He's been beating up bad teams with his hand picked squad. They're 23rd in the NBA in SRS.

Josh Giddey with the first triple double of his young career...17 points, 14 assists and 13 boards. He's a keeper.

I'm guessing Quazza will be happy about this. :D

I had no questions about his raw game, what will be interesting is to see how he grows and how the league reacts to him as his team improves. The main questions of defense and shooting are still there.

Good problem to have if Giddey keeps developing.

But doesn't SGA mostly provide the same role, play make, get his own shots, all a jack of all trade but with the ability to score a ton?

Maybe OKC will look to trade one of them at some point.

But how is Giddey's efficiency and defense?

To me it's more "Where will Giddey's efficiency and defenese peak?" ... because right now it's not good.

Kid's just shy of 19 years, 3 months old. He's got plenty of time to make big strides. At this point, OKC has to be ecstatic with what he's already good at - passing and rebounding. Agreed though that he's got to improve his shot selection.

He turned 19 3 months ago, and I'll go for "optimistic" rather than "ecstatic"

Suns are signing him for the rest of the season. They are just going to load up on size for the playoffs.

Ayton, McGee, Jalen Smith, "The Tank" Kaminsky and now Biyombo, huge front line to roll out.

They have Saric to come back as well.

We have, Looney and Bjelica, with Green the spot centre and Wiseman to return. :o :-?

I know he's a good and popular player but Embiid's egregious foul hunting really makes him tough to root for to me.
