Also wonder if this was a separate trade or a 4-team trade. If 4-team trade may need everyone to agree to different terms. If the ATL/DET/GSW part is a separate trade, we may get stuck with the 2nds and not Bey nor Wiseman. LOL
Don't forget Knox...
This sort of thing confuses me. He played a bunch of minutes on the 4th, 6th, and 8th. Unless he got injured on the plane, how does this suddenly become him being benched for 3 months? Is the idea that he shouldn't have been playing on the 8th?

It’s a 4 team trade so it would rescind all of it

Didn't he literally just play against us? Where is this injury coming from?

3 months means he wouldn’t even be available for the start of the playoffs. I don’t see how the warriors go through with this.

Curry/Klay/Wiggins/Draymond/Looney have the second best +/- in the League amongst five-man units, at +145. Only 5 points under Denver, in 85 fewer minutes. The problem has been the other guys.
Apparently those 5 can only play with each other and not anyone else? Its the $5m guys fault that Klay is not performing without Steph? Lets use some common sense here. Its gotta be the coaches fault or the “core’s” fault. The core is paid too much if they cant cant carry vet min and rookie contract guys to better than a .500 record.
Nah, in fact putting Draymond in with the second unit - instead of keeping him with Steph at all times - has really helped get the second unit together.
And Klay has been balling out - January was his best CAREER month. His game has changed, he doesn't have the lateral speed to lock down on the perimeter any more but his shooting stroke is money and he's been a smart, solid defender of frontcourt players this season.
In the playoffs, with the games more spread out and each game more important, you can shorten the rotation and run those five into the ground. But during the long slog of the regular season we need the other guys to be able to give them some rest and save them some wear.

It would be a really terrible look for the team. A former #2 overall pick swapped for an injured player who can't even contribute towards a playoff run. Other than for salary cap reasons, there's no way to justify that.

Warriors just went from a generally soft reactive defense to an attacking agressive defense.
Still too small but an Ibaka signing might get them perfectly set for the playoffs.

Man, wonder if we keep Wiseman, keep Knox and the 2nds, or keep Bey and Knox. Another possibility is we keep GP2 and send less than 5 2nds while keeping the rest.

Yea super unfortunate. At least they could say it was for depth but not even being able to suit up

Is Wiseman suited up for tonight's Detroit game?

That's horrible. The Dubs should be awarded a 2nd round pick from Portland as compensation for that tomfoolery. Alternatively, Portland should be forced to forfeit a pick.
