It's so weird. Almost defys logic.

Kerr logic. Really makes you question how he got an extension

Warriors have no legit number 2. Without Curry, it's Kuming, Klay, Wiggins....combined zero basketball IQs.

We'll be one and done in the play in tournament (almost wishing we don't even get in so at least it's a CLEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR signal to Ownership that this core is baked.

It was kind of hilarious fits was like there’s going to be so many stars in the play in in the west. Fox, sabonis, Luka, Kyrie, Lebron, ad and then just Steph. Our own announcer couldn’t even bring himself to say another star on the warriors.

Are you serious?

Only thing Klay is thinking about is his next massive payday.

He won't get that, I think he knows it. He may not want to ride the bench in a really limited role.

I wish they didn't make it either but they are locked into 10th seed by default, and the first game out.

That CP3, Podz, GP2, Klay lineup was pretty funny

Gui needed to play more. A 2nd player on the floor that can grab a contested rebound would have been great. He could have played next to Looney or TJD.

He’s been giving those vibes. No payday coming at all. I don’t think there’s a team out there dumb enough to give him more that Full MLE unless we do out of loyalty.

Bad game was bad. They fought for three quarters

CP3 slows the game down so much and that’s the opposite of what the team needs. Was attacked a lot when Mavs decided to stop playing with their food.. 30 minutes for him is crazy

When you think of the greats and their coaches I think of Bill Russell and Red Auerbach. I think of Tim Duncan and Popovich. Phil Jackson with Jordan and Kobe.

Funny enough I don't draw the same degree of association with Steph and Kerr. Wouldn't be surprised if Kerr is still closer to Jordan.

No one is telling Kerr jack, he's made for life and can do whatever he wants to. Like oh, I don't know, playing Lamb and Jerome over promising lottery picks. Lacob? Dun Jr.? Assistants? No way. Only guys who could maybe say something are Steph, Draymond, and maybe CP3, but they're not going to do that, especially not regarding Klay.

Expected loss so it's not heartbreaking and they had a little fight in them at least, just overmatched. But they better start thinking of ways to win 2 straight play-in games and be ready for a 7-game series 48 hours later, because that's what they're going to have to do.

Read on Twitter

That was a rough quarter for them. Got to think fatigue is definitely an issue fit their old legs. It's no wonder we struggle late in games

He's gone. So this is supposed to be a dude that can score big time? Has he shot 50% in any game this year? He's awful...and his shots are just flings from all kinds of rediculous positions - no base...drifting....

He shot 50+% in 19 games. Maybe first attempt was a bit questionable. The other 12 shots were very good shots. 3 misses were rebounded by himself or TJD.

The pride hit could be a full blown haymaker to him, and he may just hang them up. There's more to life than battling against injuries that we all know were horrendous to a profressional athlete. Noone would belittle him for calling time, he did a hell of a job getting back to where he did.

I just don't want his legacy to suffer through crappy lean years riding the bench for some extra money. Go make a new life Klay, you've earned it.

Logically you’re right.

But with this group, I think he will.

My suspicion is that Kerr wanted the core back as a condition of him extending. MDJ certainly wouldn’t give an open ended promise to extend Klay, but I kinda think he’d agree to leave the 2/48 on the table. He likely regrets it more and more as games go by, but I think he’s stuck.
