i'm not even thinking about opponent. i really dont know if they can win a round regardless. i'd just like to see a full series since they went all-in on Butler. A play-in bounce would be pretty sad. The team will not be as good next year (unless JK *really* breaks out). This is their best shot.

I'm just hoping kuminga meshes well with the 2nd team. Moody has earned the starting nod because he's shown he can consistently knock down the open 3. We need that floor spacing with jimmy and curry.
Question is: do you pay Kuminga next year as a starter ?

Yeah, I just want them to get a 7 game series anything more than that is gravy for me.

I don't think any of the teams in the top 3 are a favorable matchup for the Warriors.

The lakers could drop below us, they have a brutal schedule to end the year and no lebron.

If healthy, The Warriors are going to waltz to the Finals. Cleveland, and to a lesser extent Boston, are the biggest threats.

Lakers will most likely drop to the play in. They have a brutal schedule.
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Lakers will end up with 49-50 Wins at least even they goes .5 ball in the end. we have to go like 13-3 to pass them, i dont think its possible.

They have 6 easy games left and have 40 wins. They better get healthy if they want to get to 49-50 wins. Plus they play 6 games in 8 days or something crazy so they have to hope to not get hurt during that time either.

If they can get healthy and get back to playing their defense they have a chance to stay out of the play in. But if you see how they’re playing without LeBron, rui and Hayes they look dreadful.

they also have refs on their side. anything worse than 9-9 is out of the picture. They are playing OKC twice but dont be surprised if OKC dont play the full strength.

Hate the play-in so much. At our record, we shouldn’t be worrying about having to make the playoffs.

If they're going to have this much inter-conference play in the regular season, why isn't there inter-conference standings for the play in? 7 thru 10 in the east are all below .500. What a joke. Even if it meant a western team ends up in the east playoff bracket it would be an improvement.

I can't stand the play-in but feel like we are in the minority.

What sucks for the #7 or #8 seeds is if they are caught at a time when one or more of their key players are out for a game or two. In a 7-game series, there might be time to recover. In single game elimination, they're SOL.

I get why the league did this, to try and hinder some of the tanking that was taking place. The league also ended up with six "free" filler games leading up to the start of the actual postseason. Technically, the play-in games are considered regular season games.

So strange, how can people think having two-thirds of the league make the “playoffs” is a good thing? It’s just a way for the league to add extra games to make money on.

Doncic sitting tonight against Denver. Barring a miracle, GS should be 3 back of the Lakers in the loss column after tonight

if we hadn't punted a few ridiculous games (looking at you Uta and Phi), the warriors would currently be 2.5 games out of 2nd. SECOND! 4.5 games isn't out of the question with 17 left but, let's be honest, they're more likely to finish 7th. Still. They would be a good weekend away from being 2nd as early as this Monday if they had only won the Utah and Philly games.

They get somewhat gimmie games against phx and sa back to back but then they play mil and den again next week back to back. Play Houston twice, okc twice, mem and us as well. Lakers are in trouble if they don’t get healthy quick.

Someone mentioned the Lakers collapsing. Not if they play without both of their stars and teams are coming in half asleep for a stroll.
Denver may wake up and win the game, but great chance they won't if they don't wake up. That what may have happened to the dubs losing to Utahs of the league.
