We are not tanking, we are just setting up MJ to become the coach of the year next season when we have the most wins improvement

NO won again. They're only 1 win behind Kings and 3 wins behind us. Also 7-3 in last ten. Maybe they can pass us :)

Warriors better friggin lose out... lose out and they have a 70-something percent chance of keeping their pick, while just one win could drop that to around 10%.

Cavs win, within one game. If Kings lose, they're within 1.5 games.

Looking real good and best case scenatio is we get to 3rd worst record :)

5. CLE 21 wins @SA, @MEM, vs. WAS, @ CHI
6. TOR 22 wins @DET, @MIL, vs. NJ
7. NJ 22 wins @MIL, vs. PHI, @TOR
8. GSW 22 wins @HOU, @MIN, vs. NO, vs. SA
9. DET 23 wins vs. TOR, @IND, vs. PHI

Odds of keeping pick:
Finish 5th: 99.6%
Finish 6th: 95.9%
Finish 7th: 75%
Finish 8th: 10%
Finish 9th: 6.1%

Tied for 6th with 1 other team: Too lazy to work out the math, but i would guess winning the coin flip gets you a lot closer to the 95% chance of retaining pick, and losing the coin flip gets you a lot closer to the 75% chance.

With that CLE win, there's actually a chance we end up 5th worse... wowza.

I think you guys are forgetting about NOH which have games @LAC, @GSW, @HOU and have 20wins and E.Gordon is on a mission for the max contract!

If we beat them then all this tank parade is over, however if they win us and manage to pull a win against HOU for example then we have a chance to end up 4th not 5th.

Imagine 4 teams tied up from 4th-7th (NOH, CLE, GSW and one of NJN/TOR with 22wins), it would be like coin-flip lottery within lottery (Lotterception!)

If 3 teams end up in a tie how do they do the coin toss?

The game against New Orleans is the biggest regular season game for this franchise since the last game of 07 against Portland. It's for a totally different reason but it's still massive.

Must lose.

I wish the front office can do a backdoor deal with the players and tell them to throw the games :-D I know its very wrong but this pick is pretty damn important.

A perfect ending would be this.

NOH wins 3/3 WIn Cipps, Warriors, Rockets
Cavs win 2/4 WIn-Wizards and one of (SA, Bulls, Grizz)
Kings win 2/3 Win-Bobcats and one of OKC or Lakers
NJ wins 1/3 Win- Bucks or 6ers lose to Tor
Tor wins 1/3 Win- Either Pistons, NJ, Bucks

We finish tied with the 3rd worst record and win the coin flip. Then win the lottery. Wouldn't that be sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet or even the 2nd pick MKG

Top 5 draft positions are pretty much set in stone, unless someone gets (Please Use More Appropriate Word) over night and decides to win, that being SAC, NO, CLE. Thats unlikely, so as things stand we stand a great shot at sliding into the 6 spot. 2 things need to happen:

We lose out
Toronto must beat the Nets or Pistons in their final games.

We hold the tiebreaker with NJ so we would hold that slot. Just hope the balls bounce our way and no one leap frogs.

Bobcats
Wiz
SAC
NO
CLE
WARRIORS

We don't hold tiebreaker because it is a coin flip if teams have identical records/

Hopefully the Warriors land a good pick. I like this team. With a healthy team, they should be a playoff team.

If the tank really goes on, we should grab a 5th pick, the problem is the games vs. Houston, Wolves and Hornets are winnable games, even last vs. Spurs if they rest their starters, could be a win.

I see a 2-2 record and with that, we lost the pick...

Unfortunately I agree, I see at least 1 win, most likely 2 wins, with the outside chance of winning another game to completely ruin our chances.

Houston is struggling big time, the wolves are horrible, the hornets are playing well but we are at home, and the Spurs are most likely not going to care about that game.

I'm hoping both the Spurs and Thunder keep winning so the last game of the season matters to the Spurs.

I'm prepared to be crushed
