The Nets are going to wipe the floor with every single playoff team, whoever they face. They may go 16-0 actually.

Get a grip people. The Nets are a few games into learning how good they can be with. They'll be 100% better come the playoffs and will cream all over teams trying to match them. If they have a further roster issue, like rim protection, Marks will make a small move to sure that up somehow. By the playoffs, barring injuries, this Nets team will completely unstoppable.

If they don't fix their defense, they will crumble in the playoffs. And there is zero chance they go 16-0 or anywhere close this season regardless of who they get.

Yeah the defensive issues are real. I just got done going through yesterday's game and its pretty clear that they can't stop anybody. DeAndre Jordan was cooked 3 years ago and they don't have any other bigs. They don't have anybody who can defend guards consistently and Durant is the only guy who can even seem to check wings, but you don't want him living in foul trouble.

The thing that really stood out to me was that Cleveland didn't play particularly well. Any team with scoring guards, ball movement, a dominant inside presence or attacking wings is going to cause huge issues (so literally every NBA team). They might not finish top 3 in the conference.

Melo and amare should thrive in this offense. If Jeremy Tyler and cole Aldridge looked that good in summer league then us knick fans have a lot to be excited about. Make room for all the bandwagoners when we take off

Their shotmaking is great to watch when they're in rhythm.

Otherwise it's the same boring ISO ball.

Imagine Harden will get the most of the touches and at some point, he will go into foul baiting.

Kyrie does that too, trying to draw fouls on 3-point attempts by stopping or jumping back into the defender.

This. There is so much delusion right now among the other fanbases that it won't work. But come the **** on, Brooklyn has the luxury to decide how they want to go forward with what they got. A bunch of buyout guys are gonna go there. Just a matter of time till they figure it out.

I hate that i feel this way too mostly. I don’t see them sweeping anyone after the first round though.

Houston just acquired Kevin Porter Jr for a 2nd pick, not a bad pickup for the Rockets.

Nets...swept by Cavs.....lol....

When folks going to understand that adding one way gunners doesn't build a great team. EVERY great team has a mix of defense and team chemistry....Miami, Dallas, Golden State....

Two teams I can't wait to watch implode ...Wolves...already done and the Nets.....

Side note: Kyrie get's moved at trade deadline.

Their best course of action is trade Kyrie and and build their team so that they play Harden-centric offense. So something like 2017 rockets with Durant instead of CP3.

Remember when Houston almost beat us?

This team is not that good. They have GOAT offensive firepower but the pieces don't complement each other, they're weak defensively and their bench has basically 1 actual NBA player. They're all emotional lesbians too.

I still pick the defending champs who have the GOAT, a second superstar and a better supporting cast than last year.

Watching Embiid and Smart try to out flop each other right now and it occurs to me that people never really get on Embiid for foul baiting. He's as bad as anybody.

Nets got pounded in the paint in two games by the Cavs.

Jarrett Allen looked like an all star.

Yeah like I said the other day, its not like the Cavs were playing out of their minds. Its just hilariously easy to get open shots in the lane against Brooklyn.

I saw some promo showing Kawhi reaching the 10,000 point milestone. Was this recently?

I didn't pay attention to the draft back then but people have talked about Warriors drafting Kawhi instead of Klay, drafted a few spots before Kawhi was drafted.

Thing is, would he have forced his way off the Warriors to join an LA team like the way he got himself out of San Antonio?

For that matter, I think he benefitted from playing with Duncan, Parker, Ginobli early on. Warriors couldn't match that environment.

In fact, what if they traded him away instead of Monta? Or traded him for Love?

But if they kept him and he turned into an all-NBA player, it would have been really bitter to lose him to an LA team.

I'm falling for the young San Antonio honey badger, Keldon Johnson. That kid has some serious competitive mongrel in him. The Spurs have found a young animal in that kid.

My boy Austin Rivers with a nice scoring game. 10-14 from the field for 5 points. 5 for 7 from 3.

Woulda been the perfect 3rd guard for us.
