Bogut and Barnes quietly were the difference. Davis went off as I expected he has the match-up advantage. Good game Warriors.

Yeah ..a bit too much long chucks. However... the Pelicans are fast running out of time.

Klay misses 2 of 2 FT? In a game Curry even missed some. Good we jumped to an early lead. We lost our momentum. Our top FT guys.. missed FTs.. and that's won't happen next time.

Against any other team in the playoffs except Dallas or on the Pelicans homecourt this game would be a loss.

I expect a blow out next game and then a win for the Pelicans 3rd game if the Warriors don't improve.

I expect to see more Pelican small ball and hack a bogut and Iggy

I disagree. Against Dallas it's still a win. The pelicans are a unique challenge because that have arguably the best player in the series. Its the vast difference in the rest of the rosters that is why we'll win.

Against Dallas, we have the best player and the best roster, so **** around doesn't expose us to ungodly Brow mode

Can we not play Livingston without at least 3 shooters out there? He struggles to do anything in the post right now. -21 is just awful.

I'm sure this game ending will help the Warriors.
They aren't used to close games this year. As long as we won it's all good experience.
I just hope Klay finds himself again.

Missed free throws.
Anthony Davis' size in the low post.

That's what F'ed the Warriors in the 4th. FIX IT COACH.

I really cant agree with you guys here. I prefer good starts, but close wins. It helps the build up process each and every step. Also we missed alot 3's and freethrows in a win is perfect because at some point we gotta cool off and better learn now how to deal with those situations.

If anything, i feel the Pels is a great experiment, try everything on them and get more comfortable with real playoff intensity. Today we totally played like regular season, which is ok for the 1st game.

I believe we got way more out of this win than another typical GS blowout

It was annoying seeing Ryan Anderson get killed on the pick and roll over and over again.....maybe the Pelicans need to play Cunningham more in the series, because Green isn't that good to get that many open looks at the basket, no offense. And it wouldn't to play some defense for 4 quarters, but I like how the Pelicans scrapped at the end. Still, Warriors in 5.

Did anyone see that interview with Mike Shumann and Klay Thompson? That was really awkward and bad.

I predicted that most if not all the games agains the Pels would be close. I still believe we'll win it in 4 or 5 games. I also predicted that this will be one of the toughest series for us. Pels are very good defensively and match up with as good as any team out except for maybe the Spurs.

As good as AD was, he got Bogutised imo. Bogut with 6-18, 12, 14 reb, 5, 2, 2 in just 30 minutes. Brwo with just 7 reb and 5 tos in 40 min. I think a some of those points in the 4th were without Bogut in there. Refs didn't help much (neither did our ft shooting which I'm sure will get better as the series wears on). We lest 13 point off the board with our missed ft shooting. Bogut is playing better than I've ever seem him play for us as late.

If they just hit their damn freethrows at a normal rate, there is no drama or chance of this being a loss. I don't buy the "this is why the Pelicans are so dangerous" angle. That said, they need to be wary of getting complacent and sloppy when they get a big lead, as that has been happening all year, so hopefully this game is a good reminder for them.

This is the first time the Pelicans were close at the Oracle.

Next game Steph hitting his 3's and better free throw shooting will give a better margin.

It will take great team D to slow Pelicans when they play small next game.

Maybe MO getting some play then mo buckets to maintain a lead.

Another slack-off 4th quarter, it's the playoffs this cannot happen. I can't see a championship or beating SAS/CLE with these lacklustre quarters and halves.
