i don't understand what Griffin is doing, why trade Jrue if you're just gonna bring in Adams? also why bring in Adams when you have Jaxon Hayes waiting in the folds?

Problem with the DPE is that it's only for 1-year right?

Players in demand want as many years as possible and they know the Warriors can't keep pay them the second year.

And they don't want to play one year with GSW and then go out to a more crowded FA class after this upcoming season.

This is the price of success, Warriors had to pay 1 super max, 1 max and a healthy salary for Draymond.

So they can't add players like Gallo or Joe Harris.

Lakers just win the title but since AD can sign last, they have some room to add players now.

Gasol is the type of target who makes sense with the DPE, because he probably is only going to want to play 1 more year anyway..... but we have a lot of depth at center now, if we pick him up, we’ll probably look to trade Looney for a back-up PG or wing.....

Maybe if they get Hayward we can sneak in there. Kinda doubt it though - im sure Boston would want him.

I kinda want GR3 back. Not great, but some level of continuity and he fits what we need. Not a terrible backup SG/SF.

Would love McDermott, just dont see how it gets done. Guess thats for Bob to figure out. Hahah

It can be used to trade for a player on an expiring contract or sign a FA for 1 year. I think they will use it if the right player is available.
