But the nuggets went smallball yesterday. TJD would not have helped. We came out lethargic and never got the energy level up to the same place as Denver had it from jump. You can add FTs, 3s, and TOs to that, but, at the end of the day, the effort just wasn't there.

Nuggets still had more length though. Couple of key possessions late where they got offensive rebounds which led to scores.

Post was worthless, was being scored on repeatedly in the first half and didn't hit his shots. In fact, did he even play after the first quarter?

agree with what you're describing but I don't think it was related to length as much as it was effort. We've killed teams on the glass that had bigger players but we never played that hard last night until the 4th. It wasn't enough

This team wont reach the potential if role players playing bad. Outside of GP2 we got nothing from anyone. GP2 was the 10th man entered the game tonight, after Santos, Buddy, JK and Looney.

Just shows how bad this team is making threes. we are 35% without Curry, ranked 22th in the league

GP2 being the 10th man is crazy considering he's been hot hot hot from 3 for the past 2 months.

But Kerr plays people based on merit!!

By your narrow definition of merit, Steph and Dray should have been benched at halftime.

Yea too bad Shroeder isn't still here so he can continue to play based off of your merit.
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

GP2 played 26 minutes last night. Calling him the 10th man is, again, disingenuous. He played more minutes that 2 of our starters. Try not lying to make your point, in the future. Particularly those that are this easy to check.

he was the 10th man, he got subbed in late 1st quarter when we were struggling (after JK Santos Buddy and Looney). If this is a close game we wont be seeing a lot of GP2 at all. Kerr did make it very clear that some players mins will be impacted by return of JK and Podz

GP2 came in at the 2:00 mark in the 1st and played 26 of the final 38 minutes. This was a close game and we saw a lot of GP2. In fact, he played the 5th most minutes on the team. I know it fits a narrative to say "10th man" but it's less 'true' than saying he got more minutes than 2 of our starters.

you need to think like Kerr...he tried to play JK first then Buddy Santos Looney, none of them worked and then his last hope was GP2. That's the problem of Kerr, the way he plays is based on random lineup generation and if does not work out he will look at the next player on the bench...is that what a coach job is? trying out all different combination and check the plus minus to see which ones work?

This loss and loss to post doncic mavs shows lack of in-game adjustments and this probably lead to a playing exit.
