Most people aren't expecting the Pelicans to do much, unless Zion has his best season, which includes playing over 70 games.
Still need someone to be professional and make sure everyone knows how to be professional.
I thought Missi looked good, so they're going to have to give him minutes as well as Queen, their rookie for whom they gave up so much.
So Looney gets maybe 10-15 minutes? If that?
That's a lot of money for a third string center.
Zion/Looney combo would be funny. Dray was bad shooting outside with Looney with no lanes... with Zion, he better dunk from the 3 point line.

Think the contract that the hawks gave naw had way more to do with it than anything Trae said.

Seems like Indiana got rid of Miles to avoid tax? Kinda crazy considering they were a quarter or two from winning it all.

Next season will be a gap year and since they got their pick back, I expect it'll be tank city. For a team that has never paid the tax (or maybe just once before), i didn't think next season would be the year they do it (or do it again).

Good point - didn't think of Hali's injury.

I was still shocked they let turner go, especially for such a reasonable contract, and not even in a S&T, right?

Feels like this is Lillard's out to finally get to Miami, where he wanted to be all along.

Re: More Free Agent Talk
I remember people saying James Wiseman worst case scenario would be Myles Turner and best case scenario Chris Bosh. Then we reportedly turned down Wiseman for Turner when Indy wasn't certain they wanted to pay Turner. Indy signs Wiseman like they always wanted only for him to get injured. Now Indy made it official not wanting to sign the guy after he helps get them to the finals. Wiseman on the other hand, who knows if he ends up in China or the G-League on a rehab stint.
Life unfolds.

I feel bad for the guy because he was starting to come around a bit before his injury. Hope he can recover well because I think he's still got a future as a serviceable backup big - but my man should probably start taking Mandarin lessons

Did you forget, his mandarin was one of the reasons lacob fell in love.
