I wouldn't count Pop out. There are some adjustments he can make, but really when it comes down to it, they don't match up with us and they need to make a move. Their biggest problems are their guards inability to stop Curry. That forces Pop to use Leonard on Curry. Then that leaves whomever else in the back court to deal with Klay, Dre, Barnes, Barbosa, Livingston and Rush. I see a lot more options in Kerr's knife drawer than what Pop can put out there.

The excuse that the Spurs didn't have Duncan is lame. Duncan isn't a 30 point difference maker anymore, if he ever was.

Right, only a fool would. They already have all the fuel they need for the next game. They are champions to, they'll respond.

I'd say that no move is required.

They have the 3rd easiest SOS in the league, and have yet to beat a contender.

They've lost to OKC, CHI, us, and are about to lose to the Cavs. We obliterated them, obliterated the Bulls, and obliterated the Cavs.

There's no question who the best team in the NBA is, and they don't play in Texas. They need to be worrying about possibly facing us, not the other way around.

Being best in January is meaningless. Things could be different in April. Upcoming game against OKC should be interesting.

And the Warriors played horribly in Philly tonight.

Considering the tough assignments Simmons had recently would anybody be surprised if guards Curry in the playoffs?

I hope the team doesn't assume they can beat the Spurs on the basis of the one game.

Spurs are on a historic pace as well. They can win 72 games if they win out. They are on a pace to win the most games in the Tim Duncan era, which is saying something.

And they're only 3 games behind the Warriors so they can get the #1 seed still.

Hmm down the stretch of a game they were trailing, the Spurs didn't even play Duncan or Parker or Ginobli, who is just coming back from illness.

Instead, they had Kawhi create the dish to Mills for a 3-pointer that gave them the lead for good. Mills had at least one other crucial jumper down the stretch.

When Mills is on the game, Warriors have to post him every time with Livingston.

I think this thread is still appropriate for this season :) The Spurs bigs and bench completely outplayed the W's bigs and bench during the first matchup this season.

Just need a better game plan next time we play them.

Well it would help not to get so outshot by them.

They had problems in the playoffs because they couldn't beat OKC's athleticism and couldn't shoot to compensate.
