Halliburton would be a good trade.

yeah i am ok to give them wiseman too if we can get Haliburton

Wouldn’t give up Wiseman, but I’m sure talks can be started.

I was thinking before this game that Memphis is probably our biggest challenge in the West. Phoenix and Utah are pretty methodical veteran team ball units like we are. But Memphis has a collection of athleticism that is just a step above the other teams out West in the playoff picture. Memphis is just run and gun athleticism which is different than any other team in the mix out West.

I don’t think it’s actually so much about trying to play faster than them, I don’t see that happening with the vets on the team Steph, Klay, Iggy, Green. We can out shoot Memphis and move the ball around better than them. But we can’t give up that many layups and lobs, a big center to clog that paint defensively and setup a vertical threat is needed imo for some minutes. I think small ball all game will be taxing for the older team.

I don't get why Kuminga was inactive for this one. You need someone like him against the waves of length and athleticism Memphis has on their roster.

Good game. If Klay is in full form and Dray is healthy for playoffs, MEM series will be good games.

We usually win because the threes go in. And we could still have. What they can’t allow is easy buckets with backdoor cuts.

I'd trade Wiseman or Poole for Haliburton in a second, but I think you'd need more. Kuminga might do it but that's a tough one to swallow. It's not time to panic, but we've lost 3 out of 4 and seem pretty lost doing it. We can't just chuck 3s and expect to win anymore.

our offense is a clear mess and its getting worse every night. We have to play enough shooters otherwise there is just no spacing for anyone to operate. Iggy JTA Moody should not be played unless against very bad teams. Porter and GP2 need to be played before Poole and Bbelly.

I’m okay with Poole and if Wiseman goes, another center has to come from the Kings. Just don’t think the management will do it because their ego is at stake.

Meanwhile some Memphis rookie got 30 mins and started.... and they seem to have a couple of decent second year players contributing just a tad as well. Hmmm.

Guess they are not "chasing wins".

Agreed. Kuminga gave us good minutes against the Pels and gets shown the bench the next two games.

Plan: Inoculate the whole team and coaches with Omicron before the All Star break, except for Wiggins.
That gets thevwhole team rested and might get Wiggins into the All-Star game as a replacement for Steph or Dramond.
Then come out ready to battle for the 2nd half of the season.

Made no sense what so ever. But most of Kerr's rotations never do.

It took him until the end of the first half to finally put GP2 on the floor against Morant.

Kerr again, 12 mans rotation? What’s the point here? Players playing for 6 min don’t get feel and rhythm of the game.

Curry played 39 min and was gassed in the 4Q. No defence no offence.

Again Klay/Curry/Wiggs on the bench, only one Poole left and …. in 9min -7pts

Wiggs/Poole are lost with Klay back.

Curry shots selection is very questionable.

wiggins poole take turns chucking. they should be playing with Klay and run some plays
Iggy JTA are black holes when we need offense they provide the opposite
GP2 and Porter needs to play like 30 mins a game

Curry Klay Wiggins GP2 Porter Looney Poole Bbelly, and waiting for Green to return

IDK why everyone is bashing Wiggins, he wasn't the reason they lost this game. Not a great performance by any means, but plenty bad to go around. Wiggins was the only Warrior who hit 3 3s tonight. Unlike Steph & Poole he didn't shoot them out of the game.

Klay avg 16 shots in 20min in two games. It’s totally change landscape of our offence and I could see why Wiggs/Poole struggle (17-44 .386) Its not normal to give this kind of USG for player who missed 2.5 years.

What a disaster of a game, awful offense. Wiggins/Poole seem to really be having a hard time finding their rhythm with the new rotations. Steph is at least finishing inside a bit now, but man I think that was three air balls? Woof. Iguodala IMO was poor as well, but I get why he had to play - JTA was even worse and GP2 was injured.

If I'm going with a silver lining, JTA came out, took the biggest dump I've ever seen and never came back on the floor. 3 turnovers and a foul in 7 minutes while being a complete non-threat on O. Memphis was thrilled when he was trying to play the Draymond role. I don't think even Steve can look at that and commit to him the majority of nights.

Klay looked fantastic IMO. My main piece of feedback to him would be to play more  but if I was nitpicking it would be to select his drives better. He was never good at it and he should be more selective.
