Stop reading EvanZ comments, perhaps? Sounds like a good plan.

Seems like you failed already.

Unfortunately, yes, this is what many people think will work. Reality is that we also need (1) a big who knows how to set screens and grab some boards and (2) a veteran backup point guard to run the second unit. One question is how Wiseman will react to playing behind a veteran big. Hopefully, he displays maturity and accepts that he's a long ways off from being a starting quality center in the NBA.

Let him find his footing and then he can build off of that. The Warriors did the complete opposite of that. They rolled the ball out and said let's see what you do and he preceeded to just shoot every time. By the end of his healthy stint they were finally cutting things back and pulling in the reins on him and he was playing better. This all ties into my complaint about the season and how they chose to focus on developing wiseman rather than actually trying to win games and bringing wiseman along slowly. We essentially wasted the first half of the season playing a style of basketball that we'll never play moving forward until Curry is old.

I agree with most of this. I think Wiseman's development was poorly managed this year and largely fell victim to using him as a "Great Time Out" 'esque ad campaign, when he should have been asked to earn his minutes and given specific roles and measures for success. I don't beat up on Kerr or the front office for much, but they tried their damndest to f :censored: the donkey here. Yes, despite all of that, Wiseman ended his season playing better basketball than when he started. I'm not even married to keeping him, but there is a lot there still to work with, and he ended the season frankly right about where I hoped he would be, but I never got caught up in the hype. I had reaslistic expectations for a 19 year old big man and knew he would be a multi-year project no matter how he was developed. I'm not a crusader for dumping him or building around him.

Pages and pages of talk about vet big, vet playmaker, and 2 lottery picks and some users think the fan base wants nothing to change.

I was thinking more nefarious. Some unsavory troll taking on Mylie10's identity to soil his good name. Most likely a Lakers/Lebron groupie.

What's your plan, Evan?

IMO we need to ship off most or all of these picks to fill out the rotation...then need to get a little lucky with Klay's health. It's a tough problem to solve, but I'm just not seeing the star+2 or 3 rotation guys moves that puts us over the top as favorites.

The plan is to trade the picks, Wiggins, Poole (if it helps) and Wiseman for the best player or players we can get now. If we don't get Minny's pick that makes it harder obviously. We need to bring in enough higher tier talent that other veterans think we could have a chance of winning and come in on vet min deals. Unfortunately for us, Siakam was just hit with surgery and is out five months. He was a likely target.

Is Ingram a possibility? I'd kick the tires there.

Very unlikely vet mins and two 19-year olds alone help us win next year.

Our current team + return of Klay + two lottery picks + a couple vet min shooters absolutely has a chance to get back to the finals. The west is kind of weak imo. It's deep, but there's no dominant team.

I wouldn't take any of this too personally if I were you. Whenever a team makes a move that has a significantly deleterious impact on the team's future (whether that be a bad draft pick, a bad managerial or GM selection, etc.), there is a tremendous amount of butt hurt among the fan base. It stems from the sense of powerlessness that goes with watching a beloved team go down the crapper. Personally, I'm treating Wiseman as a sunk cost - Jahlil Okafor 2.0. It is what it is. Lacob/Myers/Kerr swung and missed. On the other hand, if this year's pick or picks are also pissed away, then I'll likely be joining the group calling for heads to roll.

Keep in mind if we have two more guaranteed spots on the roster taken up by Lotto picks that only makes it more difficult to add vets. Not only from a roster construction perspective but just promising vets minutes. We also absolutely need to add a veteran center Wiseman and Looney ain’t gonna cut it alone for an entire regular season.
