So the Warriors would have to resign him or would they welcome having his salary slot opened up for free agency or cap relief?

Yep, that's too much money to commit after one year and Holiday's age (31 next season). We don't know if just getting a backup PG would do it. I can accept Zach Lavine + Bulls #4 more than Holiday for what's being offered.

So, we can all agree to drop the Bradley Beal deal (For those inquiring about it)?

I would pass on both if it were up to me. I'm not in favor of any deal that puts Klay at the three.

Unless either Curry or Klay show that they can't do it any more and they need another volume scorer.

Was on their board not too long ago. Lavine is off limits since he was an Allstar. They'd be willing to give up Wendall Carter Jr., though. And, if we're after a backup PG, Tomas Santoransky would be a cheap pick up. 6'7" PG who can defend and shoot it a bit.

JJ Redick...I think he's the perfect bench guy for Warriors. Every team he's been on won and when he left STOPPED winning.
With the WIN NOW idea, how about Jordan Poole, Eric Paschall for JJ. Works in Trade Checker.

Nah. Redick a few years back, sure. But he's not going to play more than 20 minutes under Kerr. You can't really have him on the floor deep in the playoffs without him getting hunted defensively.

Reddick played 26 minutes a game this year of high level basketball. And his defense was fine overall. He shot 45/45/90 this season. And per 36 minutes he averaged 20 points per.

45% from 3 is no joke and the way he moves without the ball falls right in line with how the Warriors play.

I see him getting at least 25 minutes a game under Kerr and the transition would be seem less.

Lol, no way I am trading the Warriors future. JJ has one year left and will be 36. Give them the TPE.

Celtics board is discussing a Simmons trade because the suspicion is, if D'Antoni gets the job there, they're going to break up the big two and he isn't going to keep the one who can't shoot.

But if they are going full Pringles wouldn't trading the big that only plays C make more Pringles sense?

Seems kinda weird. I mean, he's never actually won anything

I guess if you're a team happy to come close but not quite make it, he's the perfect coach for your franchise

76ers will ask for more draft picks (Probably for both Minny's 2021 1st round pick and our 2021 first round pick) for such a lop-sided trade. Don't think it'll be realistic because they also have both Horford AND Tobias Harris on the books (Combined for roughly $60 mil alone for next season).

However, if under D'Antoni, I'd say he'd want to trade Embiid and/or Horford because of injury history and possible mobility issues. I can see Wiggins and Poole's stats inflate like crazy.

Embiid can’t stay healthy or run the floor..20% chance he works out great and we win a title with him..80% chance he’s our next Demarcus Cousins ( much more exspensive)

He is miles better than the Warriors Cousins. The health concern is real and also fit is questionable (he is a question mark on transition offense) but I would take that risk. They have to rest him a lot in the regular season like Kawhi if the Warriors get him. He can match up well with AD, Gobert, Jokic (all of them are in the west by the way). The rest of the roster is too talented to take care of the opponent. It is rather 30-40% chance for championship.

If Embiid arrives in Golden State.. I could see Cousins returning as his direct backup.. each could platoon the 82 games.. 60ish for each.

Embiid/Richardson/Korkmaz to GSW and a late first if Myers is saavy
#1/Wiggins/Z.Smith to Houston
Harden/Covington to 7ers

Are you suggesting #2 + Wiggins for Embiid + Josh Rishardson + Korkmaz?

What drug are you slipping into the Philly water coolers to get them to even entertain such an offer?
