And the Larry Sanders in Cleveland era comes to an end. It was amazing while it lasted.

I hope more to this story comes out. It was heralded as an incredible low-risk move and they cut bait extremely quickly. He must be a malcontent or in absurdly awful shape - or both.

His stats weren't awful in 4 games--6/8.5 with 2.5 bpg--but he was shooting 37% from the field and FT line. Still, that's not enough to cut him this quickly if he's supposed to be a long term bet...

LeBron the GM must be threatened that Larry Sanders will shine brighter than him next season. ;)

A zebra can't change his stripes. The guy just isn't a professional athlete. To be a pro, you have to be a very single track minded person, and devoted to your craft. Larry has a wandering mind and is too deep of a soul to consistently conform to the day to day grind of being a pro athlete.

I can't believe Milwaukee are still paying him, and will be for years.

Was gonna post this in the game thread but that got locked for some reason. Just thought you guys would be interested to know that it's looking increasingly likely Nurkic will be available for the Blazers in the 1st round series.

Should be fun, I really want to see the Blazers at as full strength as possible to get a feel for just how close or far they are from being able to hang with the big boys. Even if Nurk plays there still may be a small asterisk by the result for Portland given he hasn't played in over 2 weeks and he won't be playing 100%, but it certainly will give a bit better feel for where the Blazers are at than if he wasn't playing at all.

Such horrible news for Isiah Thomas and the Celtics. Hope he plays, and plays well. Going to be a very tough situation for him to move forward with.

It's a joy to watch them lose, but we may have to play the Jazz, so maybe I should be wanting the Clips to win, cause we own the Clips souls.

BTW, the Gobert injury makes you pause about involving KD, another tall player with skinny legs, in the pick and roll.

I hate the Clips, and they haven't been relevant as a rival to us for years. Would like to crush them I suppose.

Switching gears...If I see one more mother **** wearing a Cavs shirt or LeBron jersey in SF I'm gonna knock their ass out with a quickness. GTFO here.

As usual the East is packed top to bottom with mediocre interchangeable teams.

One of these teams is going to win this game, and when it is over, we'll hear all about how Westbrook or Harden is a great leader.

Kinda sad that we can't see the "leadership" while the game is going on, and have to wait for the post-game to be told all about it.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.
