Foul-baiting is why I can't bring myself to watch soccer and bball was definitely trending toward the dark side.

If you watch NFL games with soccer fans they are amazed at what players jump up from unhurt.

Lol! I'm actually a huge soccer fan, and find the flopping to be more of a regional (Latin American) phenomenon.

"These maneuvers have long irked fans, coaches, players and commentators. During a 2019 playoff series against James Harden and the Houston Rockets, Steve Kerr lamented the increased 'deception' in the modern game. 'I don’t remember people falling down on three-point shots all the time when I played,' the Golden State Warriors Coach said... "

"Years of public shaming proved unsuccessful, so the NBA’s Competition Committee finally voted this summer to enact a crackdown on what the league has dubbed 'non-basketball moves.' Under the new guidelines, the NBA has outlawed 'abrupt, overt and abnormal' movement by a shooter that creates 'significant' contact with a defender in an attempt to draw a foul. Rather than earning three free throws, violators will now be assessed an offensive foul in these situations."

That's if you can stand watching NFL games still.

I eventually stopped watching after all the endless coddling to QB's/passing game and the endless penalties for breathing on offensive players. I'm all for protecting the players but you could have more competitive pass routes in a flag football game if the players could actually touch each other.

Nets are such drama.

Kyrie may not get vaccinated any time soon and is threatening to retire if traded.

When KD and Kyrie went there, they didn't need anyone else but then the Nets traded for Harden. Now Harden is talking like he won't sign an extension there?

Nets owner is rich so he can give Harden a super Max and then super Max KD when he's up for an extension.

They better win it all in the next couple of seasons or they're going to look like the biggest underachievers.

Last year when people were saying to just shut down the NBA and give the trophy to the Nets I was saying that they are not a team yet. They are still not a team. They have to figure out how the roster is going to play together, and they have to stay healthy, and they STILL have to win 16 games in the playoffs and that is NEVER certain.

The Chicago Bulls look real fun this season. Lonzo Ball, Zach Lavine, Demar Derozan

LA AARP looks like LeQueen and Brow need to play 40+ minutes most nights to have a chance to win.

I really want to see DC getting an extra lottery pick.

Are the Lakers the most selfish team in NBA history?

Joel Ayayi has been released by the Lakers.

I am not gonna shut up about this. Youve all been warned. Keep in mind that we are currently two-waying Chris Chiozza in any responses.

I'd also rather have Ayayi. Then again, there are a lot of players I'd rather have over Chiozza.

I wanted Ayayi on draft day. Didnt see much from him in SL. I'm indifferent at this point.

Similar for me. But I watched a pretty good chunk of the Lakers’ Summer League (in-person in Sacramento, on TV in Vegas) and the pre-season, and Ayayi basically did nothing in any of it. Not going to write him off completely, but he had chances and did absolutely nothing to suggest that he needed to be kept.
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

He's not anyone who's going to take anyone's role.. his upside is like being a guard version of PJ Tucker. A jack of all trades who plays smart. Only can hit wide open 3s though and doesnt create for himself at all

Maybe they can sign Ayayi to Santa Cruz & dangle the open 2way as incentive. He’s another guy I’d like to see next to Poole. Play some defense, hit some open shots, bring the ball up some when Poole is being blitzed.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

What about Tyrell Terry on a 2-way? Trying to develop him.
