Well. Kevin Durant has taken giant 50 point dumps on both of my teams this year.

Bobcats leading the Trailblazers by 18 in the second quarter. They better not blow that damn lead.
In 1971, the team moved across the Bay Area to Oakland, and changed its geographic name to Golden State to symbolize the team as representative of the entire state of California

What's with the random 4 day break? Anyway, Portland plays Orlando, MIami and Atlanta until our next match. We play Memphis. This week is going to be crucial for our seeding and will probably determine it one way or another.

If Portland loses to Miami and wins the other 2, we have to beat Memphis to stay in the race. If they go 1-2, a win in Memphis will give us a huge chance at catching up.

Regardless, a lost at Memphis likely eliminates us from any legitimate shot at the 5th seed.

Gotta beat Memphis, but nothings is decided on that night. Portland ends their road trip in Chicago where they will lose, then they have Memphis on one day of rest. They play us and then the Clippers as the last two games of the season. They will be ready to fall when we play them on the 13th.

Do we even want to get past them? I think I like our chances against LAC better than Houston. Houston's been the hottest team in the league the last little whiel.

I think Houston is a much easier out for us than the Clippers. Dwight's biggest impact is on the glass and protecting the rim. We don't attack the rim anyway. He's half a player against a jump shooting team. Then you throw in the hack-a-Dwight and the fact that Bogut will challenge him on the boards and I see him as easy to rattle. Once you rattle Dwight, he tears his teams apart. He makes Houston the mentally weakest team in the west and as an underdog we will need the mental edge.

I'm much more scared of Chris Paul than I am of Dwight.

Izzo might coach the Pistons.

Lock Draymond up now before he defects there and wins them a 2004-style championship.

Only 2.5 games (2 losses) between Portland in 5th and Phoenix in 9th.

If LMA doesn't come back soon (and back at close to 100%) Portland could fall clean out of the playoffs.

Effing Mavs are playing so well right now. Last night all the highlights were of Monta feeding wide open players for made baskets.

That team is perfect for him, because he has guys he trusts. Dirk is balling out of him mind...and get this......Vince Carter is a plus on both offense and defense this season! Whaaaaaat? Defense....Vince Carter? Marion still has gas in the tank, and Brandan Wrigjt is really playing well. His rebounding is giving them extra possesions on offense and he scores down there.

I expected a fade from them, but those hungry old guys at the YMCA are fired up.

Warriors game this Friday against Memphis is the biggest game of the year. Win and likely take over Portland for 5th spot....Lose and perhaps one game from being out of the playoffs!

I think Portland falls out of the playoffs...which could be the biggest collapse in recent history. ouch.

And btw..a Warriors failure to make the playoffs would be a similar failure = Bye Bye Jackson

Great to see Greg Oden starting an NBA basketball game. People bag on him for his injuries as though he was some kind of hoax all along, but the guy had a special level of basketball talent. We all lost buy not getting to see him play the game healthy, the whole league not least of all, Oden himself. People will learn to cheer for the guy.

Absolutely. What little I have seen him play in this lifetime he's always looked a defensive version of Shaq to me. Unstoppably big and athletic, maybe not as much anymore but still very springy for a 7 footer.
