Not sure why the big 3 played tonight, get some rest physically and mentally. These guys have serious burnout and the returns are diminishing at this point.

I think burnt out and effort are what's being mixed up here. Not to mention we really don't have the depth to go all out every game like the first two Finals years.

how are we going to handle this Jazz team? i mean their defense is insane and they play like a team and we are sticking with iso ball and standing-around defense. This is the not the warriors team we used to see.

I noticed tonight looking at the boxscore that we had 6 centers on the roster who can't score, and Young and Livingston to cover backup minutes at all the other spots. It can't be easy winning without speed and shooting off the bench. Maybe Damion Lee should have got a shot this year.

Pathetic performance. Shows you how much this team misses Steph Curry being on the court. Pathetic just plain on pathetic. If they keep it up, there will be no championship appearance hell, they might not even go to the conference finals.

Best hope to the basketball gods that Curry comes back and doesn’t reinjure himself. Also, this roster (aside from the big 4), needs a major shake up. Iggy is playing like garbage and he’s getting paid more than most players in the NBA. Granted, he’s done a lot for us in the past but Jesus Christ, can you make a damn shot?

Get rid of Iggy, Livingston, and Young.
Resign Cooke, extend Bell and McCaw. Go from there.
The scariest question in NBA history.

"Can Stephen Curry get better?"

Iggy and Livingston make too much money. The only team that would take Iggy and the remaining two years of his contract, is one that is veteran away from competing for a title. Sixers comes to mind. I don't see any smart team taking Livingston cuz I think he's done as a 7th or 8th player off the bench.

With the Big 4 making so much money, the bench will always tend to be mediocre. Only hope is if they can get lucky and find a stud in the last part of the draft a la Draymond Green.

I'm hoping the Warrios will turn on the switch and they were just playing possum. But damn, they look like hot garbage with bad habits they may not be able to break in the later rounds if they can get there.

Agreed. Team needs a robot speech.

laika wrote:The good news- It's in the Warrior's interest to lose this game since the Jazz are the last team they would want to face as the 7th seed.

The bad news- The Warriors have zero chance to win the title without Curry. It's all about how fast he can recover now.

The question is what kind of Curry is coming back. The one from 2016 was incredibly rough to watch...

I need less Draymond with the ball in his hands in my life. Dude has the offensive skills of a role player yet operates like he’s Magic Johnson lol.

The one from 2016 would still be incredible helpful to this team. Curry was incredible against the Blazers with his legendary overtime game and then had a really good series against OKC statistically. Rough Finals as we know, but that was because of the Cavs defense that was only meant to stop him. He and his presence created tons of open looks for Barnes who bricked everything – and now KD is in his place.

Of course he would, but I'm hoping the team does well enough in the first round to give him 5 weeks. That should be a decent amount of time for him to come back in better shape than last season. Still awaiting the results.

So it seems like the Warriors potential first round opponents have been narrowed down to NO, SA, Den, and Minny. Warriors probably prefer to play SA out of this group, right?

I think the Nuggets might have too much depth and athletes like the Jazz to face in the 1st round injured. Although the difference is the Jazz have Rubio who is far more steady than Murray.

The Wolves are probably the most talented, they would have grabbed 3rd seed with Butler not getting injured.

San Antonio likes to run the offense through Aldridge so the pace of the game won't get out of hand.

New Orleans like us doesn't have a lot depth so they are a decent matchup.

GS is out in round 1 unless Curry comes back and is himself, regardless of opponent.
