Not like this game matters much but why aren’t Iguodala and Livingston playing tonight? I understand sitting Cousins because he’s coming off the Achilles...but the W’s have more than a week off after this game. Seems odd to sit healthy guys.

we are collecting players that are not NBA players. Lee, Cook, Bell..these players are not contributing to this game in any ways

Bell has like half a dozen rebounds in the last 60 seconds

livingston was a planned rest as part of a back-to-back. Iguodala and Draymond were game-time decisions; Andre had the sore hamstring the past 2 games but still played last night.

Well the refs put the finishing touches on this one. Was an interesting game up until then.

Have to admit I've never seen an 8-point play before; that's a new one.

draymond green had a good 1st quarter, but terrible 4th quarter. missed wide open shots, fouls, technical fouls, turnovers. Sometimes he makes big plays, but other times he is by far the most glaring liability.

He got mostly ball on that foul.

They should have just kept getting T’s till they had like a 22-point play

Don't forget Lee - he also contributed 4 boards in only 13 minutes.

Klay shooting 2-16 is the obvious anomaly that cost us tonight, but I still consider him an NBA player. The team scoring 12 points in the 4th quarter will lead to a loss on just about any night against any team. Amazing the defensive dropoff that takes place when Andre is missing; we just had no answer to guarding Layman tonight.

Ah well. This was basically a November/December game that the Warriors have comfortably if Klay plays like Klay. Add in no Iguodala to calm things down, no Cousins on the glass, and a road game on the end of a back to back....

Still, was a close one until the refs gave the Blazers the same amount of points in one possession as the Warriors had all quarter up to that point.

Blazers are the definition of pretenders. Kinda funny watching them celebrate like they won the title on a “schedule loss” for the Warriors.

Teams can just get scrubs to try to bait Draymond and he will take the bait.

Greg Papa is saying Kerr decided to explode in reaction to that call so that Draymond wouldn’t, and get another technical, as his season total is at 12.

Over the all star break, Robin Lopez gotta put some pressure on the Bulls to buy him out. Adding him would really solidify the center spot heading into the postseason. Add a bench shooter if one comes available and we’re off to the 3peat starting in April.

This team needs Cousins. With the way this roster (depth) is constructed, Warriors need Cousins especially against these playoff teams in the West.

Pretty sure that's exactly what happened, I didn't buy Kerr's outrage at all. Savvy move and at least for that purpose, it worked, although the team completely melted down at that point.

But yes, Draymond takes the bait way too often. Which is weird since he's pretty good at baiting certain players into stuff himself. "Hitler youth" flopper Zach Collins worked him over pretty good.

Yup, this needs to happen. Lopez, Looney, Dre and Shaun would be the perfect post season rotation. Without him we’re pretty thin. McKinnie and Jonas are serviceable, but anyone beyond that should never see the floor.

Don’t really know which shooter we could get. JR Smiff?

The Warriors were around 14th in defensive rating before. Cousins....now ranked 4th with him.

This was a throw away game. Guys are so ready to the break and sitting out.

Game was close with 4 minutes left and then Curry missed 4 straight shots as did everyone else. Then the refs and Collins did a number on the game....not to mention Jordan Bell rubbing butter on his fingers during a late time out.

No big deal in the scheme however. Will be good for guys to have some days off.

Really hoping Steph, KD, and Klay get tummy aches and can't play in the game.

More chicken little stuff. I think you're losing perspective on what end of the bench guys look like. Let's see...
5 All Stars
Iguodala
Livingston
Looney
McKinney
Jerebko
Cook
Bell
Lee
Evans

Something like that? So we're talking about like #11, #12, and #13 guys? Let's say I'm generous and we call Cook a #9. Is the case that we should replace them with real NBA players like Evan Turner, Meyers Leonard, and Anfernee Simons? Something like that? Because that's roughly what 9/12/13 probably looks like for Portland. And that is what's going to push us over the top? (I'll also note that Evan Turner is making $18m this year while Cook is making $1.5m. Do we want to start dumping all stars so we have the room to upgrade Cook to Turner?)
