I love Robinson. Efficient, rim running, lob threat, and rim protector. He doesn't shoot bad shots. The combo of him and Vassell/Nesmith/Haliburton is better than Wiseman.
2 and JTA for #8, #27, and Robinson.

Mitchell Robinson blows. I watched him live in NYC late last year, and he looked average at best. Didn't even seem interested.
He wasn't even a little bit. None of Randle, Gibson, Portis or Morris wanted to be there and the coach needed to win games so I can't imagine a more unpleasant situation for a young guy like Robinson to try to emerge in. That's 4 veterans gunning for front court minutes not doing a thing to help a youngster develop and a coach that prioritizes winning today over developing talent and winning tomorrow. And I can't imagine worse personalities than 3 of those 4 guys, all of whom are trying to impress enough to get traded. Just a miserable situation that couldn't be any more different than what he would find as a Warrior. I would be interested in a trade with NYK that got us Robinson, #8 and a lightly protected 1st.
Yeah, the Knicks are just an absolute mess and Thibs is going to lean on Gibson for meaningful minutes instead of having Robinson on the floor to develop. Just maybe Knicks would include Robinson to trade up, but we aren't getting another pick other than #8 overall. They would only do this for Ball and if Minny takes LeMelo its no dice.

spree of course was out of the bay after that incident with carlesimo (that piece of s***), but man, starks, mills and terry cummings didn't worth a fingernail of spree.

Correct.
Trading back is silly, especially for any of New York's muck.
Take Wiseman, profit.
The only way I’d feel good about trading back is if Minny takes Wiseman.
But I don’t want to go back much further than 8. Because I’d want Vassell or P. Will, or Okoro, or Avdija at that point.

Would love that NYK trade. But doubt NYK would trade anything thinking they sit on Gold already.
Anyone remember what they offered for Russell? Yuck!

Sorry but I won't accept any more Draymond Greens in the draft, Take Bey/Vassell instead

Watching the HOU-OKC game I'm realizing just how tenuous our PG situation is. They have a ridiculous 3 PG lineup of CP3, SGA, and Schröder, all of those guys can light up the scoreboard and pass. Meanwhile we really don't have a single competent backup for Steph, sorry Poole and Bowman. Maybe this isn't the draft to trade back for a PG, but we really need to address it somehow. In a trade down scenario, for example the Knicks #8, I would initially be temped by the likes of Okongwu, Okoro, Toppin, or Vassell. But I wonder if Halliburton/Hayes makes more sense.

Totally agreed on our PG situation. I know fans want to believe in their guys but whenever I see Poole or Bowman in the 2nd slot on any depth chart I cringe. Perhaps there are trade down scenarios that could net us a solid ball handler. I honestly kinda want Lonzo, if the Pels might want to trade up. Problem is balancing the deal, since we’d be trading way down to 13. Maybe we get Josh Hart too and additional picks. Other targets might be White or Murray from SAS, or even Ricky Rubio into the TPE, though Im not so into that.

I am oconcrend about that too but I don't view it through a positional spectrum as much as I do skills. We need more competent ball handlers/shot creators, regardless of position. The bigger the better, I'd argue. I think Wiggins will have the ball in his hands a fair amount next year to mitigate his spacing issues and I suspect he'll run mixed bench lineups filled with shooters. Same with Draymond, but he can't really creat efor himself. That's a big reason Oubre is appealing to me, he can create his own shot.
Austin Rivers has been mentioned as an FA target, I also think he's worth pursuing. In TPE scenarios with the pick swap, Kennard from Detroit would be a great get, but he has health issues. Hayes and Advija could be an interesting draft picks because of their ability to create at their size. Haliburton I've grown less high on because he doesn't really get to the hoop or create off the dribble. I think Poole will be better than expected next year, but I don't see him being able to win us a game off the bench come playoff time. We need at least one or two more guys who can create their shot and put pressure on defenses. The KD era Warriors never had a guy off the bench that could win us a game. Pre-KD, Mo Buckets could do that and Barbosa could periodically chip in 15.

Oh...no certainty at all.
The only thing I’m certain about is Wiseman. And not that we’ll take him, just that I’m confident he’s going to be a great player.
All of the other possible moves we can make are so up in the air, no one can be certain.

I certainly wouldn't say it makes sense to be certain Wiseman will be "great" ... that's a heck of a mountain to climb. I do think he has the best potential for the Warriors.

The only things that can Wiseman back from being great are BBIQ and motor/passion/work ethic (or injury of course). Not saying he doesn't have those but I don't think we really know yet. He has all the physical tools. The history of the NBA is litered with guys who should have been great but weren't.

I don't think there's been a "sure thing" for greatness since Lebron, not even Zion. But all things considered, the Warrior lineup, trade possibilities, salary cap... everything taken together, I agree Wiseman is the best choice. Let's face it, Giannis isn't coming, and Embiid? I'm not sold. I'd rather roll the dice with Wiseman.

Barring injury of course, I’m certain. You don’t need to be.

Okay, I'll try to remember this so if he isn't "great" I can throw it in your face every time you make another proclamation
Return to Golden State Warriors
