If Dubbs lose to this JV team, might as well tank for 1 ping pong ball already.

Good move subbing in Santos early to try to get some energy on the court. The energy has picked up but might as well have your energy player on the court to keep it going.

Butler and Kuminga have now taken an early shot clock 3, if you're a good 3pt shooter it's one thing, if you're not you're usually throwing your possession away. Two wasted possessions.

one thing about Post is he is definitely not a smart player - they want him to put the ball on the floor and he does it every time and TO every time.

He needs to just catch and shoot or pass, when he starts dribbling, he gets in trouble.

So this is the 2nd game Butler isn't making his imprint on the game, he's playing like a roleplayer.

GS... 6 of 28 from 3pt range.
Curry 4 of 8.
The rest of the team 2 of 20.
Butler with 4 3pta (he did hit 1, still bad offense to take those)?

Butler is playing the winning basketball - inside out.. sadly we no longer playing Moody instead JK is dribbling.. The ceiling of this team is 8th seed right now

He's playing with very little force. No attacking from the wing to the middle of the lane and hitting an open 3pt shooter, probably part of the reason the players not named Curry haven't been hitting 3s. When Butler's doing that, the 3pt shooters are usually in certain spots ready for the pass and taking a shot, most of the time the last 2 games they have no idea when they'll be open enough to take a shot.

Jimmy is struggling to score if he doesn’t get a foul. Seriously feels like we have 2 draymonds out there. Can’t shoot 3s, can’t finish in the paint, but they sure can pass.

He's really not trying to score. I've followed him his whole career, this one of those 2nd gear games which happened a lot against lesser competition the last few years in Miami.

You don’t like playing 3 non shooters with podz? I guess it’s good we’re seeing it now, perfect game to try it out.

It’s not just this game. His shooting has been horrid. The only thing saving his efficiency has been free throws.

When he's in 2nd or even 3rd gear, he isn't getting lift for his shots because he's taking almost exclusively set shots. If you go back to his big scoring games, almost every one of them he's taking jumpers. For whatever reason he's actively saving himself.
