It's not impossible, since 2020 I watched a vastly more talented team in Boston get beat twice in the ECF by a pretty bad Miami roster. The biggest factor in the playoffs is health and if Butler isn't undercut like he was in a freak accident maybe they get out of the first round quicker which gives Curry some rest, Curry's hamstring injury doesn't happen and you don't have a limited Butler for the Minnesota series. To say impossible is just not being honest, very difficult would be fair to say.
Curry put up 30+ in 20 of his 71 games and averaged almost 27 ppg after the all-star break meaning mostly with Butler on the roster, I think it's a no brainier that he's still a high level player. He put up 24 ppg against Houston who was one of the top defensive teams in the league who had unique defenders who could really make Curry work. He's fine, Butler as a facilitator who can give up around 20 a night is fine but they do need others around them being able to soak up some minutes without just completely tanking.
Injuries happen, it happened to GS all at once in the past which led to high draft picks and even without help from those picks, GS still won another championship. Boston is now going through somewhat the same situation, injuries happen and with that, you never know what can happen. One thing that can help negate the loss of a top scorer on a team is to have a great defense and GS had a very good defense with some not so good defenders scattered throughout the rotation. A few upgrades, some good health and this team will have a chance to compete for another championship.
