If Kosta sees time over POB, I'm gonna throw a full beer at Nellie. During a Kings game.
9-6 with 1.5 blks in 22 minutes... Cannot believe we got suckered into a 2 year deal with this guy... Whats more embarassing is that Cal product Rod Benson remains unsigned, dominating the D-League like a backup NBA C should...

I kind of like our bringing up Kosta now. He'll serve the purpose of Mbenga in that he can body up the 280lb+ centers we go up against. Not to mention, he can pop out and hit a 15 footer.
He was already claiming a roster spot so as long as we acquire a new guy its sort of like getting two players for the price of one.
At least I hope it works out like this...

And how sad that in all the speculation here about what move might follow, Kosta wasn't even mentioned heh
The roster spot is still available, Chris Porter's Hair. What is your point?
The call up is justifiable, Perovic has been playing OK in D-League (I mentioned his place among rebounding leaders there), and it costs the team nothing while they consider other options. NOTHING.
Having said that, Perovic often looks slow and downright bad in the few times I've been able to catch him in action on NBA TV or elsewhere and I still believe strongly that Stephane Lasme should be and may be given another shot with the team.
The matter is open until the team uses the roster spot or continues with 14 players on the roster past relevant roster addition cutoff dates.
