It just means that Wright will be playing more. Maybe O' Bryant as well.

Legit news or speculation?

If it's legit, the puzzle becomes much clearer, doesnt it... :banghead:

this was from the Chronicle yesterday

Briefly: Austin Croshere, who has missed nine games with a lower back strain, could return to practice as early as today.

From Janny Hu.

Post-practice update: The Warriors will recall 7-2 rookie Kosta Perovic from the D-league later today so they'll still have a spare big for scrimmaging/practices.

If Kosta sees time over POB, I'm gonna throw a full beer at Nellie. During a Kings game.

9-6 with 1.5 blks in 22 minutes... Cannot believe we got suckered into a 2 year deal with this guy... Whats more embarassing is that Cal product Rod Benson remains unsigned, dominating the D-League like a backup NBA C should...

Now we know what the big move is that they were going to make. Kosta, our Savior.

Grover for the win

And how sad that in all the speculation here about what move might follow, Kosta wasn't even mentioned heh

I kind of like our bringing up Kosta now. He'll serve the purpose of Mbenga in that he can body up the 280lb+ centers we go up against. Not to mention, he can pop out and hit a 15 footer.

He was already claiming a roster spot so as long as we acquire a new guy its sort of like getting two players for the price of one.

At least I hope it works out like this...

The roster spot is still available, Chris Porter's Hair. What is your point?

The call up is justifiable, Perovic has been playing OK in D-League (I mentioned his place among rebounding leaders there), and it costs the team nothing while they consider other options. NOTHING.

Having said that, Perovic often looks slow and downright bad in the few times I've been able to catch him in action on NBA TV or elsewhere and I still believe strongly that Stephane Lasme should be and may be given another shot with the team.

The matter is open until the team uses the roster spot or continues with 14 players on the roster past relevant roster addition cutoff dates.

Incidentally, Perovic and Lasme are friendly off the court and both remain on good terms with several Warriors players.

Same as Mbenga. So there is no big loss. Like I said, two for one.

Right, I hope he can do something.
But I think he's just a practice stiff.

An expensive one.

We'll see-- he DOES have a nice shot and he can rebound/block shots. Whether or not he can do those thing in the NBA, this year, remains to be seen. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath.
