If we were going to screw with things it would've been better to be doing it for the sake of the future rather than to give Webber one last gasp at NBA life. And actually, starting Wright instead of Webber would probably have a less significant negative impact on the chemistry and team.
I think it's fooked up the defense much more than the offense, and our D was substantially fooked and fragile to begin with.
The offense is fooked because Baron is about the worst good player in the league when it comes to dealing with chemistry issues or changes. I mean yeah, Webber's the catalyst, but that lets Baron off the hook for his negative reaction. I understand why he's discombobulated, but that doesn't mean I think it's ok that he reacts that way.Nellie shouldn't a done it, and Baron shoulda risen above it if he did.
But the defense on the other hand is 100% fooked because Webber is old and crippled. No he's not playing a lot of minutes, but teams get an extra 10 minutes of warmups while he staggers around the court after tipoff. That changes the dynamic of the game from then on even if he never touches the court again.
