 and Nellie really has no choice but to overwork his guys. i do think that Croshere is gonna get some PT and add himself to the rotation.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

No... that's just it. He has choices. But the choices he has don't fit into the ridiculous gimmicky mold that he wants. That's why he can take scrubs and make them decent role players here, and everywhere else he's been.

If he had given his rookies (and that includes POB from last season) any decent amount of burn, this injury hurts us a lot less... we've been extremely fortunate all season to have great health, and now that we're not, we're looking more and more screwed by the day because of it.

Wouldn't it be great to not be that worried about the Beans issue because we have an extremely long, 7" C in his 2nd year showing some signs of improvement, now with a great opportunity to shine and give his name value?

Damn straight Nellie should be playing his bench more!!! I mean, the W's get down by double digits every single game anyways. Might as well put in the bench guys for some energy. Even if they don't perform too well, #1 It will definitely help the team (esp BD) in the long run and #2 The starters have enough offensive firepower to get back in the game (as proven in the statistics showing that the W's have the most wins comming back from double digit deficiencies).

I think if BD was playing fewer minutes, his quality of play would rise; in other words more aggressive play on both sides of the ball. We saw what BWright is capable of doing against Atl, we know CJ and POB can play. And I'm talking about BOTH offense and defensively. If Jim Barnett says POB could play, I damn well trust what he's talking about. What the hell is Nellie thinking??? :banghead:

Slow starts are our kryptonite. We need someone who will come out with a spark in the beginning of the game to get Baron off of his sometimes lazy D, and the rest of our guys off of their slow rotations. At least for a bit until we get relatively settled. I know its supposed to be Al, but Wright looks like he could be somewhat of a spark.

It's not that we don't have talent on our bench. Its that the talent doesn't always come through because our bench guys don't get consistent minutes outside of Barnes and Al really. You can't expect people to contribute in proportion to their roles if they only get 8 minutes here, 15 minutes 2 weeks later.

We're in 8th now. DEN lost to the Bucks tonight and I guess we have the tiebreaker. This is our chance to pull away - our next 5 or 6 games are very winnable, and if we have a good stretch we might even go over Houston (you gotta think they're bound to come down from their run). What's more, Denver has a tough next 6-8 games.

We need to weather the storm that is Beans' injury, and if we find something from our bench during this stretch, then we'll be better off in the long run.
