This is the only game he's made more than one 3 this season. Based on that shooting motion, I'm not at all sure he's someone that can make a high% on more attempts. He's also a poor ball handler and a marginal finisher in traffic or against legit bigs. He's long but he's skinny and appears to get knocked off balance easily when finishing.
His most NBA ready ability is as a help shot blocker. His length and ball hunting instincts look legit and he has a nose for rebounds and the length the grab them out of his zone.
I disagree with much of what you're saying. I agree he's a great help shot blocker.
His body says he's a small forward and his most ready NBA skill is the ability to defend all over the floor. He's a fantastic finisher. I don't care if he struggles against big bodies because he's going to be a SF or hybrid. I'm not projecting him as a big pal.
His jump shot looks fine. It's not his strength by any means, but it's also not a problem. He kicks his feet towards the basket when he shoots from range. That's actually a good thing and he squares up really well on those shots.
He's ready to play right now. But you can hate if you want, my track record speaks for itself.
