Warriors don't need to worry about that as it would require both teams to finish 4-5th. That's not going to happen.

6th seed still intact. Too bad Rockets still won and Lakers will likely beat Denver without Jokic and Murray.

Really just get 6. The rest is what’s needed most. No clue what the matchups will be.

Grizz and TWolves losing, Denver also, is it possible for the team to get 3rd seed? They avoid OKC until ecf if they make it that far. 3rd or 6th seed is best spot but looks like they'll finish 4th or 5th.

I would rather face OKC first than Denver. Denver is just a bad matchup for us out of all the western playoff teams.

Don't think so now with Butler and the team close to full strength.

Not sure if you watched the Denver game without Murray / Jokic but Denver just have our numbers whereas we have OKC’s numbers. Skilled, experienced, and elite bigs are Warriors’ weakness. This is the reason why we couldn’t beat the Lakers in the playoffs / playins when they had AD on their team. We can def take advantage of Chef and Hartenstein in the playoffs due to their inexperience.

We won’t play with Minny and Clippers in 1st rnd.

HOU and MEM would be goal

LAL, DEN and OKC would be good to avoid

That Denver game was...
1. GS did not play as serious with 3 Denver starters out and got beat bad.
2. No real gameplan how to stop Denver with how they'd play without the 3 starters (like what to take away).
3. Golden State was very sloppy with the ball and low energy. Not only did it hurt them on offense with less shots but allowing Denver to just grab a rebound or TOV which allowed Denver to get down court much quicker hurt their defense.

I'd like to see the defensive dynamic of Draymond on Jovic and Butler in help defense but yes, Denver at full strength in the playoffs is probably a top 2 team in the west.

The Lakers will be an interesting matchup if it happens because of the Draymond/Butler duo on defense also. Having Draymond or Butler (probably Butler) looking to help will be interesting. With Draymond on one of Doncic or LeBron, Moody, can GS have someone play good enough defense on the other (Moody or GP2 when needed) to allow Butler a chance to roam a bit to cover up some mistakes? Really interested in how Kerr decides to defend them which will dictate the starting lineup.

So much was talked about Butler on offense, but his BBIQ on defensive as a help defender was slept on and how he can take away some passing lanes, especially when he's teaming up with such a great defender in Draymond.

The Lakers scare me because I think moody and GP2 may be too small to guard either Lebron or Luka. So we'll probably have to rely on JK and then Butler will have to guard the other. Add in Rui and we have issues to guard the mass as this will likely have to be Steph's assignment. I'm assuming Dray starts on Hayes so he can roam the issue will be when this becomes DFS, then Dray takes Rui and Steph takes DFS, but we're going to be in a lot of rotations. Then Moody/Podz will be on AR.

I'm less scared of LA with Luka than AD tbh.

Yup, and people are forgetting LeBron has been getting gassed in playoff games. Great 1st half, then starts fading hard -- happened a bunch in the Nuggets series and was part of why LA kept losing leads. Doncic helps there some, but we're better equipped to defend him than AD.

The Rockets still play the Nuggets (2x), Lakers (2x), Suns, Thunder, Warriors and Clippers. That schedule is going to have a huge impact on the WC standings.
