Who would you guys rather right now, Jaylen Brown from Boston, or Jamal Murray from Denver?

I have BOS over CLE in ECF. That will be the big test of my prediciions.
That will be the moment your bracket breaks. There's no chance. Most likely 0-4, or at most 1-4.

The Cavs are going to spank the Celtics, badly. Isiah Thomas is going to get killed by Irving, and when the Cavs switch defenders in defence onto him, they end up with a better defender on him than Irving in either Lebron or JR.
It's going to be an absolute rodgering.

Cleveland is going full speed at blowing them out and the Celtics are shell shocked to have any energy on offense.
Most they could do is make the score respectable but Lebron is playing in the fourth, not sitting.

The crazy thing about LeBron is he's doing Wilt like minutes. He's playing nearly all the minutes of each game and still doesn't foul out!
God damn!
God damn!
The scariest question in NBA history.
"Can Stephen Curry get better?"
"Can Stephen Curry get better?"

Re: Around the NBA III
Cavs have the largest lead ever in the playoffs game at the half.
Celtics are thoroughly rattled. They pull the string on open shots. Guys who were playing well in previous rounds like Horford is shriveling under pressure.
I think part of it is the offensive assault by the Cavs, which demoralizes these players who are suppose to be good defenders. That and under pressure, some players have tightened up, missing open shots, playing carelessly like throwing away many passes and even one backcourt violation as Rozier throws the ball back when he had space in front of him. Also doesn't help that the Cavs are being "handsy" on defense and getting away with what should be called as fouls.
In truth, I think the Warriors got rattled in the Finals too. Harrison Barnes and Ezeli definitely. Even Curry to a certain extent. Klay is already rattled in these playoffs. The team was certainly rattled in game 1 against Spurs until Kerr had them settle down.
But they're vulnerable to playing tight and getting intimidated.
If they attack relentlessly like they did when they played the Cavs at Oracle in January, where they were causing chaos on defense and running the other way with a vengeance, there's no stopping them.
But they just don't always turn on that version of the team.
If they react like the Celtics, who are punch drunk from all the hits they take on defense to do anything on offense, it could be trouble.

Just heard the Hawks are looking at Travis Schlenk. Any known history of influence on free agents or draft picks? Maybe trades?

He's been here so long, and he's been so quiet, I have to assume he's doing a great job. He does, or has done lots of scouting over the years, so you can give him some credit for guys like McCaw, or maybe also Kuzmic, or the White Derrick Rose.

And game 2 was 72-31 at the half.
You glue those together, and it's a 133-70 game.
I'm still confident though. not

Re: Around the NBA III
NBA isn't going to let anyone get in Cleveland's way.
Celtics played poorly but you could see they were livid about the officiating. Both Thomas and Stevens get technicals in the first half.
If the Warriors threatened to make it a short series, the NBA would intervene. They'd probably put Curry and Green in foul trouble early, like they did tonight. Meanwhile, Curry gets repeatedly knocked down, grabbed, elbowed in the face on a screen by Aldridge.
That's if they don't fabricate some other pretext to suspend Green or another key player again.

Off Topicso didn't want to start a thread. Seems like this would be closest thread. Ekpe Udoh sighting:
Euroleague champion, and MVP. 36 minutes, 10 points, 9 boards, 4 assists, and 5 blocks in championship game.

Anthony LOL Bennett as well.
Dude is straight up the biggest waste of a number 1 draft pick of all time, and the Cavs got away with that monumental blunder because they sucked so so very much without Lebron that they kept being rewarded with top picks.

Re: Around the NBA III
Udoh was always an OK player. He did Bogut type stuff without the hard screens, height or passing ability...so mostly worthless to a good team
The biggest surprise for me is that the salt guy is in the center of the photo!? WTF.

Beat 1 in 1661 odds to end up with those three #1 picks prior to LeBron's return.
